What if we make the tubes really really small and wrap them in many protective layers to prevent other wind sources from messing with the signal.

Narrative-driven games made Valve into Valve. But ok, you do you.

I first got this realization when I started using grey scale mode for my phone at night. A “good to bad” scale in an app became unintelligible. Since then I try to consider colorblindness if I design stuff myself. It’s fantastic if color scales carry meaning in both their colour but also the same meaning in their lightness, so everyone can understand them the same.

Those little glimpses of memory. It’s even worse than remembering the dream when I wake up, because in the latter scenario, I at least know for sure it’s a dream. Sometimes, for the little glimpses of memory, I don’t know if they are from the reality or from a dream. They do get very vivid occasionally.

That! Sometimes the static subtitles are way too long and take away from the fun of watching the movie. It’s an art to find the balance between constantly changing and too static.

European here. Our self-checkouts make no sounds and don’t have any of that unexpected item bs. The experience is great. If your experience is like what I’ve read here, I begin to understand why it’s disliked.

These actually look fantastic with the filter on. Another commenter’s examples were bad and I too thought it’s just nostalgia, since the filtered ones looked worse there. In particular, the skeleton you showed gains so much depth.

Do you know why that would be a positive evolutionarily trait? Clearly, if they try to retract it, at some point in the history they must have been able to do so.

Hi, it’s a new day and I can think a bit clearer now. I remember what the setup was. It’s not entirely an automatic feature.
What I did was create a simple one line batch script that kills a process with a specific name, in my case Nvidia Broadcast. Then, I used Windows’ task scheduler, to automatically run this script when I shut down to computer.
Check out this discussion: superuser.com/…/using-task-scheduler-to-run-a-tas…

There some kind of solution involving legacy windows tools straight from windows 7 or older. I had that issue with an early version of Nvidia Broadcast and I found a way to always kill the process when I want to shut down the computer. I remember it being an actual feature, albeit buried in the aforementioned legacy menus.

Back when PUBG first came out, I did not have a powerful PC yet. However, I could enjoy the mobile version of the game and, by the time I built my first PC, I had gained extensive knowledge that equated to a good head start. At its height, PUBG mobile was awesome. Moreover, when with friends, we could all just decide to play it together on our phones, to matter where we were.
