I’ve been really good with my lowish carb, no sugar, anti-inflammatory diet and feeling much better. Was out at dinner with a friend last night so had a little splurge of gf pasta and three wines. Up half the night with heart palpitations and hot flushes. I’m guessing it was glucose spiking. Cross that off the list I guess. For now at least

I know I’ve mentioned the Negging Technician here before, but this week I’ve realised just how much he puts me on edge. I am so thankful that I have a manager and colleagues that take me seriously in a situation they themselves are not exposed to. But, I fear for the women who do not have that same luxury.

I protect myself professionally by just requesting access to every document I come across. I’ve seen the memes about saying you’ve started something, then when you actually get around to it realising you didn’t have access the whole time.
So I just request access to everything. Doesn’t matter if I need it. The people on the other end think I’m interested in everything, and I’ll never get caught out in the “Request Access” trap again

Curiously enough, the only thing that went through the mind of the bowl of petunias as it fell was Oh no, not again. Many people have speculated that if we knew exactly why the bowl of petunias had thought that we would know a lot more about the nature of the universe than we do now.
