    that’s casual work, inside Ubuntu you need to run an emulated calculator which runs doom.

  You can still run Win 3.11 in DOSBox in that Ubuntu instance. I did it once for fun (from a Mint VM), but couldn’t get anywhere online.

  Make sure to use the right os version for your processor architecture, windows for x64 and linux for risc-v.

  I thought I heard Apple got rid of bootcamp, do you have to run everything as a virtual machine now, or can you just format a drive GPT and install what you want?

    Unless it’s an m1 or m2 you can’t run a linux kernel natively.
