CDPR Chad!
To be fair, on Steam everyone who had GTA 5 got GTA 5 Enhanced for free too.
True, but that’s also a live-service title (in the form of GTA-Online), where the main source of revenue isn’t game sales but in-game shark cards.
But everyone got the single player campaign too. I never played GTA Online and only care about the campaign.
Compared to Witcher 3 the GTA V isn’t even a game, especially if you look at the extremely rigid mission structure in otherwise open world. Rockstar wants to tell stories, not make games. I can’t understand why they just don’t turn into a movie studio at this point.
metal gear solid isn’t a game by that logic. Any open world game with linear path missions isn’t a gamy by that logic.
To quote an ancient review by Shamus Young (RIP):
GTA IV offers incredible production values, voice acting, music, and visuals. By contrast, all Saints Row 2 can offer is fun. You’ll have to work out for yourself which one sounds better.
The wrong series died.
I don’t understand what you mean by that GTA 5 isn’t a game. I guess everyone has their own definition of what it means to be a game and I don’t want to take your definition away. Here is my definition I wrote back then when “Mixtape” was in the discussions:
A game is more than just being interactive. A game has rules and you can fail to overcome a challenge.
To me GTA 5 is a game.
And also the paywall on that trailer is only 6 hours.
But can I disable these kinds of ads on Netflix? It‘s the ad free subscription for a reason, right?
Seems like a good time to play it for the first time too. I just need to find a decent recap of the first two
Do it anyway. I played and beat 3 and I still haven’t played the first two. I may have been missing some background info but they did a great job explaining everything contained in 3.
I daresay the first two even worth a playthrough, they’re not that long. Okay, maybe the first is pretty janky and you may want to skip it, but a W2 playthrough is a dozen hours or so, and it holds up ok-ish for a 2011 game.
Pay Netflix to see the trailer earlier then people without it.
It was an exclusive for how long on Netflix?
Like 6 hours. But I don’t think it will matter lol
6 hours

They’re a corporation who forces their workers to crunch. Quit sucking them off like they actually care about you.

That means they care about customers, but not their employees

They care about neither. They do care about money though
