  Gaming journalism has really lost all credibility. A fucking 10/10 from TheSixthAxis. For this pile of shit. Even if you’re a hardcore pokemon fan, as a journalist you can’t just ignore the issues.   The problem is that we allowed these idiots to amass so much wealth, that they can just buy and ruin everything they don’t agree with. If the US had anything close to an actual anti cartel agency, they would not allow these kind of takeover to protect free speech and american values

  If the server endpoint is the same you could try a DNS rebind? A pihole or adguard should be able to redirect that and I guess the fan made one is a bit more lenient when it comes to that kinda stuff

  That’s also not really true. They can very well believe, that what they do is okay but they know that the law says otherwise. They hide because they want to avoid punishment, not because they feel that what they do is wrong (From their point of view)
