  Disclaimer: I have only seen the trailers. Multiple things were from substantially incorrect regions or time periods. They could have at least tried.

  Also, I bought a Nolan movie to watch at home once, and the sound balancing was complete garbage. It was disappointing that he let his pretentiousness make his movie unwatchable. Maybe someday he’ll understand what art is for.

  Unless the people in my life that watch more movies than I do say it’s really good, I won’t see it, but also won’t be reviewing it for Rotten Tomatoes.

  I don’t know how anyone can extrapolate from these aggregate reviews. Taste in art is so personal. I find these utterly useless. Personalized movielens ratings are a little helpful at least.

  I’ve never used that app/site and have been able fully enjoy movies for all the exact reasons I watch them. Not sure why people use that thing at all. I use imdb to check parental guide before my teens see things but otherwise why is there such a want for critics? Not to mention… bots and click bait tactics drive that site. Rage bait from it makes you form opinions on it for others on social media? Do you have a need to live that lifestyle for some reason? Wild times we’re in. We really need to pump more money into mental health.

  Yup, problem is we apply this to everything from dating, culture, politics, religion, and so on. Obviously all the things I think are valid and obviously whoever doesn’t agree is somewhere between misguided and the spawn of Satan.
