      No, its not the same.

      In the past, the younger generation was broadly more literate and better informed about the world.

      Gen Z and Alphas are worse.

      In the past, younger generations were not absorbed into digital screens nearly 24/7 that literally program behaviors into them, where those behaviors are finetuned to turn them into mindless consumers or some kind of cult adherent, or gambling addict.

      The mass proflieration of for profit social media acts as drugs do, especially so on younger, less developed minds.

      Sure, the introduction of TV did something of the same kind, but not to the same extent, or scale.

      If you think this is the same, you’re simply unfamiliar with the relevant data and studies.

      Probly cause it was a weirdly hateful and aggressive response to a shitpost. I dunno. We have clay tablets about how weird and fad driven the younger generations are. You aren’t supposed to understand the young, this is just some doomer ass “this time is different!” BS. Every few gens there is gonna be a new disruptive thing that’s really gonna do it this time. I don’t buy it.

      The bitter people beginning or entirely feeling out of touch start this trash, but they aren’t worse than the people who tell you they are part of the youth and they don’t get it either. That’s pick-me ass behavior. Let these people live.
