      Omg what a dapper gentleman! 😍 At some point, when I have a job and can support another cat, I’d like to adopt a black cat. I need to lean way more into my witchy bitchy side, and black cats are so underrated

    Should be going to Bounce to celebrate the kids’ progress with toilet training. We could get family tickets but I think I’m good.

    This will all be after my girlfriend’s doctor’s appointment at the insane time of 9:30 on a Sunday morning

      I remember some years ago, I went to Bounce with my cousins, and one of them brought his new girlfriend. The girlfriend tried doing a flip, landed on her foot and broke it. They broke up a few weeks later, unrelated to the broken foot incident.

    28 jars of beef chilli and all of them sealed. They are cleaned up and just need to be labelled and put away. I usually have one or two that don’t seal, especially the reusable lid type that are a touch more finicky, so having all of them seal is a very good result.

    I am learning Latin on Duolingo for fun.

    It’s not hard, English speakers already know a lot of Latin already.

    so I quit panicking, figured hair dye is contact not ingested and I will be ok. Dyed my hair, am still alive.

    so today I will redo my nails, they are light brown and orange with pink sparkles, have to do black now but will add red sparklies

    Yesterday i sorted more things for opshop, mostly clothes that are too big now, so will take them to savers, the scales don’t seem to be moving much but clothes are getting bigger 🤷‍♀️

    and will buy new beach shoes to replace the ones that got nicked

        I know I should just embrace getting old but damn, I like my longish black hair , I’ve had nearly all white hair since my late 40s and I just don’t feel like a white hair person

    There’s so much good stuff in that industrial area of Heidelberg West. If you opened a cafe in one of the surrounding suburbs you could stock everything from things made there.

    Sweet By Nature for cakes, Gridlock Coffee for coffee, and the cannoli at South Melbourne Market is made there, they also do this really good pork roll as well.

    And even though you could get things delivered, everything is a 15 minute bike ride away you could get a cargo bike, slap your cafe logo on the side, and free advertising when you go pick things up.

    Today I am listening to the audiobook of The Martian, read by Wil Wheaton.

    I saw the movie years ago, I think this will also be good and in a slightly different way, just like PHM is different in book, audio and movie. 🌞

      I’ve read The Martian (and seen the film), and I definitely enjoyed it. They’re different, yeah, but both are worth the time imo. I think the book goes into the science more so than the film, iirc

    I made some long-overdue changes to my design to account for the tapered jars so they sit better - slightly annoying to cut because I have to cut a curve instead of a straght line, but it does work much better.
