Daughter has her first official ‘date’ tonight. She’s known the guy for a long time…and so do we. Grandson of one of the neighbours’ (very nice people) and my missus went to high school with the dude’s mum.
None of this will stop me from reenacting a very particular scene from Bad Boys 2 (if you know, you know).
My daughter’s boyfriend lives in NZ. My husband likes to re-enact scenes from Once Were Warriors in the background when the boyfriend is on speaker phone. Make me some betch etc.

I just stumbled across someone on Reddit whose user name is a male version of my real name. They post in the Melbourne sub and have many overlapping interests. I am slightly concerned I have a multiple personality disorder I am unaware of 🤣

Ate something earlier. Scrubbed down and rinsed the shower while I was in it, then stepped out and misted it with spray bleach. Put a load of cups and utensils on in the countertop dishwasher (the uneasy alliance continues).
If I fold the dried load of towels that will be four things. The last might be a few minutes with the kettlebell or trying to find the calcium pills I’m meant to be taking.
Life just seems to be sleepwalking through chores and trying to get back on track

It really sucks how my health/disability prevents me going back to work even casually. Plus I’ve been ill for so long there’s a massive resume gap that means nobody would hire me. And the disability job agencies only offer manual labour jobs like hotel cleaning (not able to do that). And no doubt there’d be some major disruption from a crazy neighbour as soon as I got a job. It’s a shame I can’t sell art to bring a little more money in. But demand would be low, I’m not that good, and PayPal gives your government name out. I guess all I can do is try to work on the non-permanent aspects of my health and see how far that gets me. This might be a long road.
I found out how my husband gets Dan Murphy discounts and I thought I’d share it with youse. He goes into the app or website (that part is unclear. Forgot to ask) and places an order in the cart. Closes it up, waits until it times out (again I didn’t ask how long) then goes back in and there’s usually a message like Sorry your time is up. How about discount? something like that. I don’t know if it will work for you or if it’s because he’s a regular customer.
And that’s why I’m staring at 5 slabs of beer and 30 bottles of soju.
Abandoned cart recovery emails. They are implemented on a few websites but obviously requires them to have your email which has its own costs.

I found one of those scammy cunts who have no reserve and then fake bid up to your max and then after it’s ended message you a second chance just over your max bid. After a couple of times on this item (just some stupid little duck figurines for an in-joke) I set a max bid of two bucks and let nature take its course.

Day 2 of the Snottening. Have consumed approx one-third of my bodyweight in tissues and am now down to swept bunkers on the tissue front. Not going to buy more (dead tree issues), so will start a Napisan bucket in the laundry for the hanky tsunami. I do need to buy more Vicks or similar.
I’m a big fan of steam vaporisers with some vicks or Eucalyptus oils in them.
check out the vicks shower steamers too. You can break them into pieces for shorter showers.
If you have any eucalyptus oil (liquid or spray) you can put some on the shower floor or in a sinkful of hot water to breathe in the steam
I now own more cast iron cookware. Oops. Also got a pack of cider and found a middle one was empty with a pin hole in the bottom. Annoying, but can’t be arsed trying to return it.
More cast iron cookware can never be a bad thing.
There’s so much in my life I need to get together and I don’t know where to start. 😑
Sometimes I tell myself I don’t have to do anything at all aside from basic sustenance and hygiene. It takes the pressure off and I end up somewhat productive.

So I’ve been trying to figure this out, but I’ve confused myself now so I thought I’d ask here. WhatsApp. Phone storage is almost full because of lots of media within multiple chats. I do an automatic online backup overnight. If I clear the media from my chats on my phone, I’m assuming this doesn’t change the fact the same media is backed up online? Meaning, my next backup will not overwrite the old backup and erase the media? It’ll just complement the existing backup by just adding the new stuff… right?
I’d seriously double check that. Some “backups” are just mirrors of your phone’s state
