My sister got used to working full time and doing uni at the same time, so now she is very bored. She wants to do more than cooking and walking, but doesn’t know what. Birthday is coming up, so I got her a Lego set of the plant she had that she killed died. Maybe I will throw in a puzzle too 😈😈 2000 pieces, all one colour

I kept looking at my new wooden spoons thinking “I’m pretty sure you should oil those”. Went down a rabbit hole and discovered yes you should with food grade oil and not cooking oil. Well, I don’t have any. Wait. Yes I do because I moved it the other day. Chopping board oil! Yes! They’re gonna get a nice bath then I’m gonna lube them up.
They don’t talk about the little things in the book of Adult when you turn 18.

Doing pharmacy roulette today trying to find prescribed medication in stock. Chemist Warehouse made me wait a good 20 minutes just to tell me no stock. Went to two other places, no stock or about to expire. Finally lucked out and found it on the 4th attempt. Waiting in busy pharmacies just triggers a stress response in me.

10 hours of restful sleep was attained
rescheduled doctor’s appt to next week, it was stressing me out that I had a cold and they don’t like seeing people with colds
should I buy some nice fresh food that I can look forward or do a small walk at beach

My stomach hasn’t been 100% but I’m at least doing a morning in the office because I have an open IT ticket.
ALT+TAB on my computer has stopped working properly. That’s not the sort of thing I thought could break. And you know what IT departments are like, if you can’t do things to their schedule they’ll just close the ticket

I’ve put a wrist strap on the vacuum phone because it’s just so wide and flat. Combine that with the camera bump and there are a few times it has flown out of my pocket from getting caught on the way out.
When we were at the Blue Lotus Watergardens the other week I was terrified of holding my phone out to get a photo and fumbling it into the water.
Modern phones are one thing that could convince me rich people are actually aliens or lizard people because these things are not made to be handled by human hands. They almost feel more suited to a tentacle or a rough padded lizard foot

I have persistent longstanding abdominal pain with no apparent cause in combination with known medical issues around digestion, and it really affects my life/being able to eat.
It’s a lifelong everyday thing but naturally it does worsen with stress

My new budget tracking spreadsheet has worked, both the bank and I agree on how much money I have. There were a few initial glitches where I set up some calculations wrong but it appears to now be working. I was resisting changing to the spreadsheet instead of multiple bank accounts to track everything because of the hassle factor, but now that it’s done I think it is actually an easier system. It will also make things much more coherent for the bank when I get to the stage of applying for a loan. Just one bank account with minimal transactions instead of 23 with constant transfers back and forth.
