He’s running for governor of Minnesota and Trump endorsed him. He your average run of the mill successful business sleaze thats into right wing politics. I see his pillows at my farm supply store and nowhere else.

It’s the latter. They started that ball rolling themselves post-Nixon by specifically and intentionally pandering to the stupidest voter segment. Now that’s amplified to the point the whole party is comprised of useless idiots a few of which happily use the others to further selfish goals. The Democrat party is not far behind either. It’s like a memetic STD.
