Instead of Democrats that want to increase ICE funding, more regime change wars, more deportations, how about for once, the Democrats nominate a good candidate? Can we try that? People will settle for a Berniecrat, I’m sure. Bernie may be too old, but I do think people would settle for AOC. Not my first choice by a long shot…but I’d settle for her. The main political figure at the time of UAE was asked about their feelings towards gays, and he said they were fine with guys, just don’t allow public displays of affection, no matter who it is. I don’t know how true that is, I’m just passing along what he said.

Haven’t really noticed hidden bots on lemmy, other than obvious ones that are open about it, but I have noticed some political agenda accounts I’m suspicious of. I’m guessing it’s gotten better, but pro-Israel is an instant red flag to me online. I’m currently experiencing with them now. Bringing up the Hannibal Directive seems to be a touchy subject.

The suspicious one to me is lemmy.world. Trying to get people to make comments you disagree with makes you look sketchy as well.
