He was a major rightwing influencer and ‘debate bro’ show host who would debate college kids instead of anyone with experience who was fed talking points and being groomed to hold offfice - that’s the only reason anyone knew who he was.

I’m pretty sure his popularity was rage bait only. I only saw left people making fun of him.
I mean, social media is a bubble. But genuinely was pretty sure the conservatives didn’t actually listen to him.
