Genuine question: Did anyone do any vetting on this guy before he ran? I know his whole shtick is not being a cookie cutter pre-picked politician but Jesus Christ he’s got a pile of issues before rape accusations. For example, say you find out about the Nazi tattoo while vetting him. Wouldn’t that prompt you to do some more digging?
I’m not gonna shame anyone who voted for him but he’s kinda fucked everyone over by hiding this stuff till now. Democrats must take the senate or we’re gonna get an even harder right SCOTUS.

I think it’s a nice upgrade from the Switch 1 the build quality is a lot better and the screen is a huge upgrade. Performance is better too. I’ve never seen the OLED Switch 1 so I can’t speak for that but I think the upgrade would be less noticeable.
I mostly used my Switch 1 to play indie games and Nintendo Exclusives like BOTW and TOTK.
On Switch 1 both Zeldas, and Hades 1 would all drop frames at certain points. For Balatro on Switch 1 I had to disable everything in the visuals settings because the game would chug when you started scoring high. I don’t have these problems on Switch 2.
Lastly, IMO if you can comfortably afford it and want one you should get one now before hardware prices increase even more. Nintendo is eventually going to stop supporting Switch 1 and there’s some good games like Pokopia that are only Switch 2 already.

I feel like everyone but Bungie realized the game was done after The Final Shape. They kept trying to keep the game going and kept putting out mid content when it was clear Marathon was their new baby.
I wouldn’t be upset about this except for the fact that Bungie kept trying to pretend it wasn’t already over and they didn’t drop Destiny like a sack of bricks as soon as Marathon came out.

Regardless of how this game is going to turn out it’s good to see gaming execs have negative views on AI. I can’t find much on his track record with emerging tech but it feels like Hudson would be one of those guys to worship AI. Maybe that’s just because every big name these days is.
I hope this combined with Xbox dropping their AI initiative (which genuinely surprised me) is a good sign for the future.
