Actually, it turns out the best strategy is to strip the plane’s armor - light planes need less fuel, which makes them even lighter, and that makes them faster. Fast planes spend less time in enemy airspace and are harder to hit.

The survivability onion: 1 don’t get seen, 2 don’t get hit, 3 don’t get damaged, 4 don’t get killed

also… the Mossie used less critical resources which meant they could build more of them. and the plywood construction may have been harder to spot on radar.

Here’s my strategic assessment: the best option is to large scale infiltrate your enemy before air raids and let the infiltrators put potatos into the air defence systems barrel’s. 🥔 gg, ez.

Or make the whole thing out of whatever the black box recorder is made of. Problem solved!

i read in a science article that they’re made of this weird thing called atoms. can we put some of those in planes?

that’s exactly why birds evolved to have scales!

I’m glad they armored the parts that made it back with sprinkles.

The ones with the sprinkles on the engines and cockpit must be extra tasty

Age of Oddish with a Piplup profile pic. Yeah, I’d trust them.

What we aren’t seeing is the scraps that didn’t make it into the cookie cutter
