Through the power of self delusion and narcissism old people don’t know either!

I wonder if Dennis’ obituary also says he abandoned his children
TexasDrunk@lemmy.world 22 hours ago
They weren’t Dennis’ children. They were Lyle’s.
BakerBagel@midwest.social 22 hours ago
Well, at least a third child was Lyle’s. The fist two may have been Dennis’s

I think it’s wise to keep in mind that outrage and moral condemnation of mothers abandoning their children is often the chain that keeps women in bad situations. It’s also a double standard that rarely applies to the legion of men who abandon their families every day.

Yeah, I wonder if the obituaries for Dennis and Lyle are as celebratory.

What happened to Dennis? His wife left him so he took their kids to her parents and never came back?

He’s got his own nobitchuary incoming.

Sounds like ol’ Lyle had already gotten her pretty hot and bothered.

For everyone asking about the husband, looks like he did indeed bail on his kids and set up shop on the coast with a new family.
