I approve, to a certain degree (because life ain’t easy for Rei in NGE, to put it mildly, and shit gets pretty weird between her and her husband dad). At least it’s short and sweet, I’ve seen way worse. And, if my name had to be inspired by popular media, I’d also rather be named Rei from an actual show written by adult human beings instead of Rey from nu-SW. 🤷

Is he some sort of hobo philosopher a la Diogenes, sharing his insights? An ascetic monk, deep in meditation whenever he’s not working and wanting for nothing? Idk, it didn’t seem that way to me. I’ll give you that he leads a very ecological life, but it seems to be more the result of poor financial choices. Maybe he’s working this hard to give it all to charity every month, who knows? But I bet that’s not what’s happening (probably gambles or drinks or smokes his money away), and as such this is just a sad and aimless life.

This is one of those American nonsense arguments I don’t mind getting into, lol. Just include it in the price if it’s not supposed to be a gratuity. Do y’all just get guilt tripped into paying the salary the employer should be paying every time? What a horrible aftertaste to what could’ve been a good experience. A coworker of mine recently told me she uses ChatGPT to deal with heartbreak/fboy drama, without any shame nor expressing it as a cry for help and the result of desperation, and I quickly understood the world has changed drastically. If people, especially in some communities, were intellectually lazy and asocial before, this will only make it worse. 😞

I got banned for opposing the genocide in Gaza before it was part of the liberal narrative shelf… Been about a year, I truly don’t care. Listen, besides small communities with older folk, it’s mostly a cesspool. You can still use it as an aggregate, but the less you interact there, the better. It has also become a complete American MAGA site besides small oases of sanity, so it’s just a very annoying experience to talk over there unless you’re part of their team and find what they say normal/funny.

At least he cares about belief enough to “debate” it, even if he doesn’t understand it. I think many “hardcore atheists” are just Western Trinitarians who, at least for a while, wished religion had substance but then they see megachurches and politicians saying “God Bless America” before bombing and raping the global South and they’re utterly disappointed.
