Meh. Just mute people. That’s what I used to do when I played online. I understand emotions run high and people get frustrated, I’m not gonna let my sensibility and their bouts of idiocy (especially when the solution is so simple!) ruin their experience forever. And honestly, they’re probably just actual kids… I’m patient like that but I understand some people take things more to heart and whatnot.

God loves the righteous, but that’s a personal decision we make with the free will we’ve been endowed, not something ‘given’ to us like our height or intellectual capacities. Many people are ‘better’ than me (taking/needing less, they’ve given more, for example) and all I can do is try to catch up, at my own pace, and I’m sure God will appreciate the effort.

Aren’t you OP? Also, people currently understand “AI” (a marketing term) as “LLMs” and audiovisual producing software. Had you mentioned it in the late 90s, it would’ve been more about “The Matrix” kind of sci-fi AI, for instance. Words and their context. You’re being purposely obtuse because people here wrote thoughtful comments disagreeing with the premise in the image you posted and you don’t like it as it makes you feel silly. Thats all.
- Comment on Interesting question when you think about it 3 days ago:
Yes, a temporary loss of consciousness is close to death. Well, at least from my understanding. The ‘experience’ itself doesn’t keep me awake at night (nothing does), but the idea that this will all suddenly end just as quickly as it began for me is at least a bit uncomfortable, lol. I’ve had a great life though (and I’m only in my early 30s!), I can only be grateful for this wonderful gift.

I’m sorry, should the mods delete it because it’s not true (even if nonsense is posted on Lemmy all the time) or because it offends you (and if so, how?)? Because if it’s nonsense, I’d be grateful if you could show us how.

Yeah, certainly… or she has no sense of smell (or sight, or ears cause he’s somewhat annoying). 😅

I know a flabby, sweaty, unhygienic dude with a diaper fetish who also RPs as a baby (???) on Discord who’s been with his girl for about a decade. The world can surprise you, lol.

Enjoy the fleshlight and don’t let my opinion disturb you. You’ve chosen your path, and I have chosen mine.

Did you mean “the only time it’s illegal”? Cause, sure, I guess. But this is my opinion, and I think it’s too much. I bet there are things that feel like “too much” for you too!

Well, I guess anal beads are cheaper than a trip to Bali, lol. Enjoy yourselves. 👍

😱 Is this just for fun or are you a professional? 2k on sex toys… Maybe I’m just too poor to get it but that’s a bit too much for ANY kind of toy, lol.
- Comment on How abnormal is it for a mother to be her son a fleshlight for his 18th birthday? 1 week ago:
I didn’t say masturbation, in the traditional sense, was something so outrageous and immoral. I understand the urges of the flesh because I too am a person (a healthily horny man at that!), but fleshlights are definitely too much. It’s advanced gooning. Your mom promoting it and buying you sex toys is weird AF and concerning, and the fact I even have to spell it out is, well, I’d like to say surprising and disappointing but it isn’t, not really. I know who I’m talking to here, after all.
And Muslim non-sectarian!

“Wanking wasn’t enough? You’ve no hands?!” was my first thought, bringing back some Reddit core memories, lol.
Ofc it’s weird AF. Promoting hedonism and oversexualization is weird and immoral in general, but your own mom doing that to you sounds traumatic too… Sorry, OP. This is the kind of stuff you either take to the grave or share only when you find an extremely understanding lady. :/
And purely out of curiosity, where are you from?

Yeah, it seems too normalized as a kink, making it all the way to cartoons, for it to be rare over there. Bizarre.

I watched “The Irregular At Magic Highschool” when it came out and every episode I was hoping they wouldn’t go hard on this angle, lol.

As someone that experienced childhood abuse and now deals with anger management issues, I ‘agree’ with the average American on the point “that violence solves all problems”/violence is the go-to tool and not the last resort… It’s not right though!
- Comment on twitter 1 week ago:
In a society that uses terms such as “fake news” and “peaceful war”, I’m not surprised words have lost meaning in all areas, lol.
- Comment on twitter 1 week ago:
Discussion boards existed way before what people consider ‘social media’ (MySpace, Facebook, and the list goes on), places where people talk not about a topic at hand but themselves. If you consider ALL OF IT social media then I guess I agree, sure.
- Comment on twitter 1 week ago:
YouTube is not really ‘social media’ unless by that one means ‘audiovisual media created by non-corporate entities, fellow members of society’. I guess it can be if all you watch is GRWM and ‘daily updates’ videos…
- Comment on Makes sense to me 1 week ago:
Probably more like “be wise enough to understand the world and yourself without feeling overwhelmed by it” because almost invariably the reason people have so much venom for the “other” is due to their own insecurities and misconceptions (“if I make you feel bad about yourself and you accept it/don’t fight it, I’m better than you and that gives me enough fuel not to collapse”), but I guess ‘skill issue’ is succint, lol.
- Comment on Makes sense to me 1 week ago:
“Misogyny is a skill issue”.
Women-hating PUAs/incels explained succinctly! But when the average man in your society has that ‘skill issue’, it becomes a societal problem.

Eh, some people are too stupid to successfully think in non-extreme, non-categorically binary terms, at least not without leading them through it. It’s easy to ‘make sense’ (lol) of the world that way, just like it’s easier to read the horoscope and KNOW there’s just 12 different kinds of people (maybe more if you count the ‘ascendant’ sign or whatever) than it is to understand human complexity and the mixture of culture (time and place), life experiences (various ways of childhood trauma come here), attachment styles, etc. that makes a person.
