Used to live very near there, have passed that sign countless times. Feels weird seeing it again after 15 years, in a meme of all things

How does this happen?

My uneducated guess: the truck driver forgot to pull down the trailer lift after dumping whatever it was carrying

This doesn’t explain why a truck can drive at double digits mph with the trailer up.
That’s like the most basic safety mechanism the manufacturer could implement.

This makes sense now. Rookie mistake!

I’d like to imagine the driver didn’t even notice and is still driving along.

I like the dudes passing on the left like… “Yeah, that’ll hold.”
Probably, but I’ll be passing on the right tyvm

The best part of this is knowing without a doubt, this dude had at least 50 separate people try to be good semaritans and pull up next to him and warn him by honking.
And then he thought “what’s everyone deal today?” Then BAM

I’m surprised he didn’t tip on the entrance ramp. Makes me think he dumped his load at some highway construction and had barely started going before this happened
