Just had a chat to the ol’ man about how to go about this new potat patch. It’s almost there and I said the shovel is the one to use for the rest. He said “you mean the spade”.
And it reminded me of my late grandma’s saying :“A spade is a spade and not a fucking shovel”.

For a few months now we’ve been experimenting with soju. The aussie soju is like Black Douglas and the South Korean is like Johnny Walker double black. The difference is very distinctive.

Been getting into baseball this year, with the playoffs going on right now and there is nothing so satisfying as the sound the ball makes off the bat when they crush a home run.

Anyone experiencing issues with Bank of Melbourne / VISA credit cards?
Can’t tell if it’s an issue with the weather or I’ve been hacked, but my credit card got declined and the website says balance unavailable.
Tried contacting them, but after 8pm that’s a no no apparently.

I’m Bof Melb here - but there’s been an outage with St George and Westpac (Bof Melb is part of that group) so no surprises if there is. Fourth outage this week apparently.

Definitely soggy out there today. I’m glad the food market is now fully under cover. There wasn’t a lot today, but I did get some nice beef sausages and some strawberries.

We have done morning walkies, we mostly avoided the rain but Mr Woof had his raincoat on just in case. I’m currently waiting for the storm to pass before afternoon walkies (or, as I explain it to Mr Woof, I’m waiting for the giant sky dog to stop growling at us).

I’ve watched some really weird stuff in my life but Paul T Goldman mini series would have to be up there with the most bizarre shit I have ever seen.
It starts off as a non fiction story and is now morphing into a fictional fantasyland James Bond like tale. Wow.
