    Anyone saying they are fiscally conservative and not backing projects with massive ROI for the country (infrastructure, climate, single payer) are just trying to excuse the fact that they are selfish to the extent of supporting bigotry in order to make a few extra bucks.

  Funny thing is if you’re fiscally conservative you’d vote for Dems, they bring the deficit down. Republics blow up the deficit.

  My former best friend was “fiscally conservative”. What that actually meant was that he hated poor people and wanted cuts & heavier restrictions on government programs for them.

  He was raised on food stamps his whole life, but oh well.

      Nah, man, he smokes weed, so he’s “socially liberal”!

      He’s also the child of a Mexican immigrant & an indigenous mother. His grandparents literally jumped a fence and came to the US illegally.
