God couldn’t possibly be mad at them. Despite doing the opposite of many things Jesus taught, they must be right. The man on the big stage at the hundred-million dollar church told them so.
- Comment on How come people who are against abortion are in favor of the death penalty? Kind of seems like a contradicition/ 4 weeks ago:
If we have reached the day prior to birth the person carrying doesn’t want an abortion. It’s therefore fine to leave the decision to them and their medical team.

That seems pretty adequate, given the price.
- Comment on The official Nintendo Museum appears to be emulating SNES games on a Windows PC, which is slightly embarrassing 4 weeks ago:
I really love those doofy detachable Joycons. However I have instead gone with the Steam Deck as it is open to the point of allowing custom OS and they advertise capability for DIY repairs.

- Comment on Victoria sees record fall in rental stock as investors leave the state 5 weeks ago:
Is “making the market tighter for renters” accounting for people who were renting transitioning to owning? Lower supply, sure, but by definition if it is not for rent isn’t it because it became a primary residence, lowering demand as well?
- Comment on Absolutely nothing happened June 1989 5 weeks ago:
“A lot of people died but not in that particular spot,” extremely helpful.

All legit sources are members in a conspiracy to discredit China. Only the studious journalists at prolewiki and johnmenadue dot com will tell you the real facts.
- Comment on Players are now less "accepting" that games will be fixed, say Paradox, after "underestimating" the reaction to Cities: Skylines 2's performance woes 5 weeks ago:
What, rely on a company to uphold the spirit of an agreement and deliver on fixes after I’ve paid? Risible.

The flood has started below. And indeed it is a bunch of @lemmy.ml, surprising nobody.
- Comment on Absolutely nothing happened June 1989 5 weeks ago:
The admins are tankies. It’s just better to avoid it. The smaller their communities the more of a joke it is getting banned for writing a fact.
- Comment on I'm tired of every game being live service 5 weeks ago:
I am fighting this trend by not buying those games. Online connection for single player means I don’t buy it. Unnecessary third-party account means I don’t buy it. Packing a rootkit installer means I don’t buy it.

- Comment on If Biden wanted to could he have people kill Trump since he is in office and SCOTUS said it was ok? 1 month ago:
No, he cannot legally, because it would be a corrupt and partisan SCOTUS deciding if that is an official act.
- Comment on What Undecided Voters Look Like To Everyone Else 1 month ago:
They’re a MAGA. They want Donald to drop bombs on Gaza like he did in Yemen, more killing in Ukraine, pogroms in Ohio.
- Comment on If Trump loses the election and flees to another country to avoid his sentencing in his (multiple) lawsuits, does the Secret Service have to go with him? 1 month ago:

- Comment on Gacha games are out of control. Gambling shouldn't be so widespread 1 month ago:
That’s hilarious. Unfortunately that is what is happening already. Large corporations are buying ridiculously low taxes by spending a few million up front.
