Both are gold, great reads.
All I can offer is sympathy. You’re not alone - we all make this mistake exactly once in life. Never again!
Yeah so, first of all, 10 minutes is too long to leave it on. Second, anything scented is going to be more irritating than the non-scented version. Third, vaginas don’t like corrosive chemicals.
I don’t know what to do in your case, in the short term, but I recommend a pH-neutral body wash like Vagisil Scentsitive Scents for sensitive areas. It won’t fix the burning but will hopefully not exacerbate the issue where other body washes might.
There must be some point to this stuff because they’ve been selling it for decades. But I don’t understand who uses it or for what.
Its fine for legs, but dont put it anywhere near millions of nerve endings. Last time I looked it they were clear about not using it near genitals.
if there are billions of people, new ones born every second, and everyone tries it once -> they gonna make a few dollars
This would make an awesome episode of “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia”
You can buy depilatory that is made for intimate areas but you still can’t put it on the vagina or the butthole. It burns.
I am so sorry, you are going to be miserable for a few days. Lotions and balms are probably going to make it sting even worse.
I hear sugar free gummy bears really help with this
Instructions unclear, now have yeast infection.
Yeah, pretty sure you’re not supposed to use these in intimate areas or armpits and the like.
So, like, would you recommend or no? What if I have a burning sensation fetish?
Gold bond medicated itch powder, the menthol variety.
Slap it down there, especially after a shower, and you’ll have a good time with a lot less pain.

When I was in the Army, shaving was the bane of my existence. Well, shaving in the field was; I hated it so much. Never enough water, more shit to carry, winters are the worst because getting hot water is hard enough, and shaving with cold water sucks.
So, like OP, I found hair remover for men, and I’m like, “WTH why do men shave when we have this??”
The answer is: because these are all noxious chemicals, they feel like noxious chemicals, they smell like noxious chemicals, and they leave your skin raw and red. They really are only useful for guys for whom normal shaving is even worse, usually because of a tendency to ingrown hair problems from shaving. Or maybe there are guys with sandpaper skin; I don’t know. But there’s a reason why men (at least) still shave.
Someday maybe there will be a depilatory that’s as gentle as it is in sci-fi, but right now it’s just a caustic, irritating hot mess.
I really feel for OP. :-(

same for me. it doesn’t even save time or effort. it just really irritates, maybe even harms the skin on top of taking as much time as shaving anyway. it’s so useless. can’t recommend.
