- Comment on Powdered drink mix without water? Assuming you drink a lot of water. 19 hours ago:
it could be bad for the teeth, if the particular powder contains lots of acid (eg. citric acid). usually that acid would be diluted in the water, so it would be weaker and less of it will touch your teeth. But when you eat the powder directly, it’s concentrated and depending on how much of it touches your teeth, it can become a problem.
- Comment on questions about sex toys: would it be a bad idea to fully insert a vibrating egg in my bum? 23 hours ago:
yeah, like the recommendations on the shopping sites i visit. they usually have some products on their front page and they may change depending on your tracking data.
also, search engines may show different sponsored results based on your tracking data.
that’s why it’s so creepy. you don’t know when this stuff will come up.

first you tell him you don’t like to exchange more than a few sentences per person. then you tell him, he exceeded his limit for years, so you will not talk to him any more, except if it’s a real business matter. then you don’t reply, unless it’s a real business matter, for the next few years.

At least not started, but if the characters behave too unnatural, it upsets me and I lose interest. One should be able to relate to the characters and not constantly be irritated by their actions.
- Comment on Anon is a math prodigy 1 week ago:
this is not always true. many tutorials encourage people to do a setup that does not output a PHP error to the web, as it can leak info that may help an attacker, such as the file path the error occurred in. in setups like these PHP will log the error to a file an attacker can’t access (often /var/log/php/error.log ) and exit with a failure status code, which many common web server setups will turn into an HTTP 500 error. Some server setups will just send an empty file though, which will be a blank white page shown in a browser.
- Comment on How likely will "Cloud Storage" eventually replace Local Storage? 1 week ago:
Yes, but there will always be an important crowd that does care and that’s why cloud storage can’t completely replace local storage or home NAS. It can maybe replace it to like 50% max or so, but never completely.

Yeah, what is this setup supposed to do? More light? Slower burning up of the candle? Some kind of cheap camping stove?

- Comment on How likely will "Cloud Storage" eventually replace Local Storage? 1 week ago:
Unlikely, as cloud storage providers can’t be trusted completely. They be like “but it’s encrypted. trust me bro”, but every time they get the chance, like when acweakness is detected in tge cipher, they will peek or let some government peek. This is how magically your competitor ends up with your business secrets.

I was briefly on Bluesky and I had women follow me. I don’t remember if interacted with women otherwise. I didn’t care much about peoples gender, just remember the followers, because it were surprisingly many. I didn’t expect any at all.

- Comment on I don't have a purpose in life and feel like a robot. This cannot be good for my mental health, but I don't know how or what to change. How do I change? 1 week ago:
it depends a lot on your character, but humans don’t necessarily need friends. friends have pros and cons. however, if you are convinced you need a friend: you make them by doing activities, helping each other out or having similar interests. for example, you could learn how to sail or canoe or join a knitting or pottery course. Talk to the other participants. Find out a few things that don’t make them uncomfortable talking about. Then afterwards, you linger a bit and try to find someone to go to a bar (you don’t need to drink alcohol; it’s just for bonding), karaoke or dance in a club. On another day, ask them to go bowling or go to tge cinema and talk about the movie afterwards. There is something in human nature, that if person A helps person B with a small thing, person A will start feeling a bond. So, let them buy you a cola or bring them a funny hat or so to start mutual bonding.

- Comment on Should South Korea launch a preemptive attack on North Korea? 2 weeks ago:
Depends on bomb type, but Ukraines and russias region is gigantic compared to the region affected by bomb fallout.
If it wouldn’t be so bad for the wildlife, it would be a decent strategy for Ukraine to dirty bomb along the whole border to russia, so crossing it by land would mean cetain death within a week. It could even be on Ukraines side to demonstrate it’s a defensive measure. Dirty bombs are less difgicult to make and Ukraine has a lot of experience dealing with radioactive contamination, too.

- Comment on Am I the only one who feels uncomfortable about people making such big deal out of whether they're "black" or "white"? 2 weeks ago:
No, you’re not the only one. It makes me feel uncomfortable as well, especially if it’s white people making a huge deal about being white or others not being white. That’s creepy AF, as this has been used historically as a really bad reason/excuse to mistreat others.
- Comment on [deleted] 2 weeks ago:
If you’re in a country that uses references, it’s best to request an interim report from your current employer, then use this to apply for a new job and finally, when you signed the new contract, quit the old job. The reason is: That way your employer is interested in writing a positive, truthful reference to not anger you. When you have already quit or are beeing fired, they may have negative feelings about you or may want to force you back by making you look as unemployable as possible.

- Comment on what's the best way to react if a guy stares at you like he wants to have sex with you when you're doing yoga? 3 weeks ago:
if he just watches, it’s harmless. maybe annoying for you, if you dislike being watched. you don’t know his intentions. maybe he was just getting closer to cheer or something.
also, wanting to have sex is on it’s own also harmless and natural. doesn’t mean he’s a rapist.
i think his actions do not necessarily call for a reaction. just, as you also felt uncomfortable, you did the right thing. it’s public space, so even if it’s rude, everyone can stare at whomever they want. you always risk being exposed to rude people when you do things in public. sometimes the best thing you can do is just leave. But if you’re not alone, you can call him out to find out more about his intentions. Maybe he’s chill and will change his behaviour once he’s aware it makes others feel uncomfortable or even threatened.
