Just make sure your safeword is very long and contains special characters.
- Comment on Is it a pattern that every time a movie, show or animation that doesn't have a white person as the protagonist is attacked by right-wingers? 1 day ago:
It’s real, but you don’t get to see anything from billions of viewers who don’t mind or even enjoy a little variety. Only the five hillbilly snowflakes who feel offended by a skin tone bother to voice their stupid opinion.
- Comment on How do I make a phone call to (not from) an elevator speaker, just like what a debt collector once did? 2 days ago:
you could cause a screeching feedback loop
- Comment on Why do people from Western societies always seem to complain? 2 days ago:
I feel quality of life has improved massively in EU. Everything is the best it has ever been in my region.
In the past few years options to get things delivered to my home tripled. Crime rate is way down. Even though I’m not a vegan, I have many good vegan options I often choose now (like various vegan chocolate from all supermarkets near me). Public transport is super cheap at the moment. More than 90% of my company works from home. A lot of things have been automated or work online, e.g. payroll, most bills, banking, some administrative things, getting doctors appointments, etc…

i have seen this meme the third time the last few days and i’m always like: rent where?
i don’t get it. does it mean, the movie isn’t available within the services subscription, but costs additional money or does it mean it’s not even in any service and you rent it somewhere else?

I find those funny, which just have the same word in another language for their name, like the River Avon or the Sahara Desert or even Torpenhow Hill whuch is “Hill Hill Hill Hill” in different languages.

- Comment on When will we have auto turrets mounted on plane engines to stop birdstrikes? 1 week ago:
the shareholders usually don’t get much. the top managers are the ones filling their pockets. sometimes the top managers also own shares tho
- Comment on When will we have auto turrets mounted on plane engines to stop birdstrikes? 1 week ago:
I bet it’s much cheaper to just let people die in the occasional plane crash, than to add weight to the plane.
- Comment on Thank god "shit" is censored 1 week ago:
I was way younger and it was super cringe. It was also fun and hot, but looking back I shouldn’t have tried to get laid so early and desperately. We were so stupid back then.
For example, one girl actually persuaded me into having unprotected sex, which I didn’t want, but I wanted to get laid so desperatly that I agreed. She was using a calendar to track her period and fertile days and that was risky AF and didn’t account for STDs as well. This is something you can maybe do as a long time couple if, but not with a person you just met three days ago.
- Comment on Doordash deserves it's fate 2 weeks ago:
Don’t judge ppl for not cooking. It takes time. It takes effort. It takes more than the attention span of a squirrel. A lot of people just can’t any more. Depressed people, old people, exhausted people, busy people. Some flats don’t even come with kitchens and some people are forced to move somewhere. It also, doesn’t stop with the cooking, you have to clean up afterwards as well. Cooking can be fun, but it can also be chore.

- Comment on [deleted] 2 weeks ago:
you only lose if you invest more than you get paid back with your paycheck. if you get laid off, it’s supposed to be their loss, because they lose your experience. you should be good. i know change can be stressful, but you can get another job until finally a company isn’t mismanaged and keeps you.
- Comment on what is the actual name of this type of „logic”? 2 weeks ago:
not just polish. at least german too. not uncommon
- Comment on [deleted] 2 weeks ago:
Nah, it’s escapable.
However, the situation has been more or less like today for more than 6000 years. In some regions and on some subjects it got even a lot better. So this “nightmare” is actually totally normal, just not ideal and chances are very good humans will some day overcome it and live in an ideal situation.

- Comment on Why is deportation done instead of imprisonment or making people become documented? In other words, why does deportation exist? 3 weeks ago:
it’s a way of getting rid of people without significant legal follow up. everything that led to the deportation can be a sham, because once they’re out of the country nobody from the government gives AF any more.
- Comment on Is it paranoia or is it really a pattern? 3 weeks ago:
It’s not paranoia. There are a few people who think “woke” is a bad thing, when it is really not. It’s not just entertaining for audiences to see a large variety of characters, but also reflects the global population and minorities. Most people actually enjoy seeing things from different perspectives and exotic scenarios. People complaining about this are close-minded and boring, but unfortunately think their complaints are a wide spread opinion. They are not.
