Native on the Deck is 1280 x 800. Slightly more than 720p, but not by much!

I mean, the Steam Deck can dual boot Steam OS and Windows 11. I have a 2TB USB C SSD that is a full Win11 install.
I expect I could use that same SSD on the Steam Machine.

I mean, speaking for myself, I already bought the consoles back in 2020. I bought a Steam Deck to access non-console games.

Steam Deck works well and has 16GB of unified RAM with only 1GB automatically assigned to VRAM.
Having 8GB dedicated should be a huge improvement.

All too often developers pass off scripted in engine rendering as legitimate gameplay. They do this so they can control everything that is displayed, but also divert more resources to the graphics to make it look better for the promo.
The tell is when there is no UI to speak of.
Compare the Wolverine footage with in game footage from Spider-Man and you’ll see what I mean.

But, yeah, I get it. So much of it is just plainly manufactured bullshit. You can’t trust anything. Not at least since the Halo 2 debacle.
And even if it is real, there’s no guarantee it won’t change before release (cough - Watch Dogs - cough), get delayed forever, or just get outright cancelled and shelved.

Sparklite is 1.5GB and was on sale for $3 when I dropped it in the other thread.
Winter Burrow is excellent as well. But it is 10GB. There is a free demo though!

Couple of problems:
- No UI, so typically that means, yes, in engine footage, but not real gameplay.

Wolverine shouldn’t be jumping around like Spider-Man, his skeleton is metal for gods sake!

The green kid, Leech, suppresses mutant powers. The healing factor shouldn’t work around him.

Not sure I like how Logan gets bloodied and the blood just… fades off.
+1 for using Marauders as cannon fodder though… They are cybernetically enhanced clones, kill all you want, they’ll make more!

Started really with Storm in 1975, although, yeah, her powers are weather control, not specifically lightning, but lightning is definitely her power move.
Before Storm, you had Black Panther, Black Goliath, and Luke Cage, not electrical powers.
But AFTER that…
Black Lightning - 1977
Black Lightning is a great character, but Tony Isabella holds the rights to him so it gets complicated doing stuff with the character.
As a result, you get Black Lightning knock offs that can be used without the rights entanglement.
