Films can have the same problem.
Notably the 4th film in the “Divergent” series was never made, although we got the first 3. The 3rd was a rushed failure.

My daughter in law is Burmese and she got hassled by an elderly hispanic man mistaking her for hispanic.
He caught her speaking English and went off on her about “How dare you not speak your own language!” etc. etc. and was very apologetic once he understood that, no, Burmese nationals do not speak Spanish.

I watched it on Max but didn’t see it in the theater, I might need to check it out on home video now.
The effect was pretty bad on Max, but the guy died, what do you want? Might have been better to sub in Bishop (then, Lance Henriksen is 84 now) or David.
It wasn’t a BAD Alien flick, it just felt like the same story… again…

You have to understand, as an environment space will kill you and everyone with you.
This isn’t like mining underground or underwater where if you screw up, you die. In space you have to do EVERYTHING right or you die.
Unless we find an asteroid of pure gold/platinum/diamond the risk/reward ratio is too damn high.

Could be either hardware or software.
I’d try updating the bios and video drivers first, failing that it could be a failing video card. It could be the screen too.
To test if it’s the screen or the video card, connect it to an external display and see what happens.

Streaming DOES have a purpose… for media I don’t otherwise CARE about. Media I don’t feel the need to own.
I will 100% stream the America’s Test Kitchen channel, but I’m BUYING their cookbooks, not their videos.
I dearly love the Doctor Who channel, but I’m saving my money for when I can get a complete set of Tom Baker (it’s getting super close now!)
I pay for Max for John Oliver. Creature Commandos is a nice bonus. I THINK I bought Peacemaker on physical? Can’t remember. I definitely THOUGHT about it when I bought Suicide Squad.

I loved D1 and D2, putting in literally THOUSANDS of hours, and dropped it like it was hot when they cut out 1/2 the content in the game. Restore the vaulted content and I’ll come back. Without that, it’s clear you don’t value the time and money I invested.
