- Comment on PS6 and next Xbox console are both aiming for 2027 release, separate reports claim | VGC 1 week ago:
Good luck with the tarriffs…
The last time a console generation lined up with a giant economic crisis we got the Kinect and PlayStation Move instead and a proper console release was delayed until 2013.
I could see this being pushed to 2030, easy, if it happens at all.

“The Wilderness Doesn’t Give a Shit About You”
People forget that #1 fact even in states that aren’t Alaska.
I remember, years ago, this tech writer driving with his family through Oregon. They went down the wrong road in winter because the GPS told him to and it damn near killed all of them.

“Stability Improvements.”
Well, shit, we must have the most stable system in the universe at this point…
- Comment on Criterion’s “The Wes Anderson Archive” is the Blu-ray Box Set of the Year 2 weeks ago:
I’ve been picking these up one at a time as they come out, Isle of Dogs and French Dispatch are the latest two.
While both films are a delight, I found the bonus material on French Dispatch a little tiring. Not so on Isle of Dogs, the whole production is great start to finish!
Asteroid City and Phoenecian Scheme both have normal non-Criterion releases.

Yeah, I should have specified, any species of owl that migrates from Europe to America… Not sure what that image is on about. Everything seems wrong.
- Comment on Can someone fact check this 2 weeks ago:
For starters, the average owl doesn’t weigh 16 pounds, that’s immediately proven false with a simple Google search. The smallest is an ounce, the largest just over 9 pounds.
On top of that, I can’t find any species that migrates from Europe to America…
So false from the jump.

Even if you make an excellent game that makes money you can STILL be on the chopping block. See Hi Fi Rush. 😟
- Comment on The Video-Game Industry Has a Problem: There Are Too Many Games 3 weeks ago:
“Of the 1,431 games released last year that garnered more than 500 reviews — an indication that they were played by at least a few thousand people — more than 260 were rated positively by 90% or more of the players. More than 800 scored 80% or better.”
Problem - You can’t trust Steam reviews. Steam users will give top ratings to “Click the Duck”.
- Comment on Kindergarten forced to back down after proposing to charge parents $2,200 for their own children’s art 3 weeks ago:
And the $2,200 wasn’t for each kids individual artwork, it was to produce a collective scrapbook from all the kids in the school, plus photos, etc.
$2,200 is still insane on a per-piece basis. It shouldn’t cost more than $50 a piece depending on the size of the book. I could see $2,200 being printing costs for the whole run.

From what I hear from people actually able to play the game, it’s better than 3.
Something like:
2 > 4 > 1 > 3 > Pre-Sequel

DF is who I’m waiting on, but from what I’m hearing, they didn’t send reviewer codes so it’s all delayed and that’s never a good sign.

- Comment on Is there or has there ever been information illegal to possess or have? 5 weeks ago:
For a while it was illegal to export Pretty Good Privacy, or PGP from the US.
FTP servers in the US removed it for fear of legal action.
So I imported it from a University in Scotland. 😉

Not concerned with Denuvo since I rarely buy or play games on PC, I just want to know if it’s worth playing.

1 and 2 were legitimately good games.
Pre-Sequel was terrible, 3 was better but still not good.
Can’t say I remember enough about the Tell Tale game to have an opinion which may also very well be an opinion. ;)
