First load of laundry complete. Second load about to go on.
Market shop also complete, so I will eat this week
CEOofmyhouse56@aussie.zone 1 year ago
ANZAC biscuits for breakfast make sense.
Alamutjones@aussie.zone 1 year ago
You could absolutely do porridge that tasted just like them
CEOofmyhouse56@aussie.zone 1 year ago
I don’t eat porridge
Thornburywitch@aussie.zone 1 year ago
That they do. Heat them up for a min or so in the microwave and pour some cream on them. Add berries if you are feeling healthful but these aren’t really necessary.

Art practice… I don’t have a fountain pen so am using a ballpoint pen, and it keeps blotting. Also I was doing it from my wrist for fine control so my wrist now hurts 😢

Is that a hobbit hole?
CEOofmyhouse56@aussie.zone 1 year ago
Yes. See if you can zoom in. It’s so cute!
StudChud@aussie.zone 1 year ago
I wish I was mediocre.
SituationCake@aussie.zone 1 year ago
I need not wish.
Seagoon_@aussie.zone 1 year ago
Have you seen Amadeus?
StudChud@aussie.zone 1 year ago
A long time ago. The fictionalised Salieri is my patron saint that I cannot hope to emulate or encapsulate within myself.
It is a very interesting film, you have inspired me to re-watch it!

Are Chiko rolls good in an air fryer?
CEOofmyhouse56@aussie.zone 1 year ago
Should be. If they’re frozen I’d microwave them first then airfry.
bull@aussie.zone 1 year ago
Naw straight in frozen. The box has air frying instructions and they come out good.
bull@aussie.zone 1 year ago
Yup. I’ve been through a couple of boxes.

Does the lack of oil affect the taste much?
Duenan@aussie.zone 1 year ago
Bleh. Did some rearranging, washing, chnaged the covers on my bed.
Feels like a still have a billion things to do and clean up and move before the tradies come on Wednesday to install split systems.
Seagoon_@aussie.zone 1 year ago
one room at a time or it that is too overwhelming one area at a time
Duenan@aussie.zone 1 year ago
Been doing a little bit of this room and that room.
Will have doing more a little later to prepare one room three I have 2 areas left to do.
At first it was overwhelming though since because of how many rooms needed to have furniture moved.

Does anyone here use Tubi tv and movies?
I keep getting info that movies are on Tubi but then I can’t find them anywhere.
melbaboutown@aussie.zone 1 year ago
I tried it a couple of times but it didn’t have a lot of stuff I wanted. Ginger Snaps is allegedly on there but isn’t available yet
ajsadauskas@aus.social 1 year ago
@Seagoon_ It might be that some films are only available on there in the US, but not Australia?
Seagoon_@aussie.zone 1 year ago
I was thinking that.
These are indie movies so it Looks like the high seas for me.
just_kitten@aussie.zone 1 year ago
Still feeling good, fingers crossed I’ll be all clear for Monday. Gardening pt 1 done, onto pt 2 tomorrow. Bok choy and tatsoi seedlings going in along with radish and coriander… and I SWEAR I bought beetroot seeds but still can’t find them…
Gonna do some meal prep too: arroz verde to go with prebought chili sin carne, and maybe upma and a carrot-and-guar bean masala with defrosted curry leaf chutney. And I will start on the hot sauce!!!
Also looking up hoki recipes for the frozen fillets I bought from Aldi a couple weeks ago. Never cooked with it before, fresh or frozen. Perhaps a Thai green curry?

I wish to request a sanity check upon whomever makes the colour decisions in multipacks of undies. Seriously, who wants lilac knickers?
Thornburywitch@aussie.zone 1 year ago
I don’t understand the logic behind little sprays of flowers either.
Catfish@aussie.zone 1 year ago
I don’t care for any print myself, but Boyo has some rather entertaing ones.
Seagoon_@aussie.zone 1 year ago
lilac is lovely
red, orange or brown is just nasty
Catfish@aussie.zone 1 year ago
I follow the logic but don’t entirely agree about some shades of red.
It depends. Oops.
melbaboutown@aussie.zone 1 year ago
I don’t understand why they sell a three pack with three different skin tones (1 light pink, 1 tan, 1 brown). I’d rather have three of the same colour because the point of that is to match your skin and blend in under thin/pale clothes.
Or why Bonds puts chunky prominent white writing on the bands of skin tone undies/bras.
Or why most cotton underthings have to be brightly coloured and/or lairily printed.
The logic…
Catfish@aussie.zone 1 year ago
The three skin tones is weird. I don’t get white either. Utterly impractical. Yes, it’s a throwback to real linen undergarments, but you can’t boil the modern stuff!
