  Why didn’t you ask this question yesterday when I had a pie for lunch? Now I’m reading all these pie comments and wanting to have a pie instead of the pizza roll I have. (and for the record, yesterday’s pie was beef and mushroom).

  There are so many good choices, I find it really hard to make that sort of decision.

  I have been getting some pies lately that are the leftovers the bakery didn’t sell and I get to have a surprise pie, which works for me. They are all good, although the chicken contains a few peas which must be picked out. Strangely enough Miss Meow thought the peas were quite yummy and ate them all.

      I’ll add that if it’s an independent bakery, asking what if they’ve got a speciality often pays off. Eg The Murchison bakery does a great chicken pie that I’d never had considered if I hadn’t asked.
