I mean commuting could be anything between 5 minutes and 4 hours.
Like walking distance. What does it mean???
- Comment on Absolutely 1 week ago:
I feel like sub-urban has lost meaning.
If closer to the boonies than a city, you’re no longer sub-urban. Though does rural count as country town, or just farm, or both?

I’m at 18.26 for a double bacon cheese, small Cajun and regular drink.
That’s a lot of food as well. Like a meal and a later snack to finish it off.
Coupons are great, last time I went I got 2x little cheese and fries for like 10 bucks.

Gameboy Advance is a close second. Third is a far off Nintendo DS, Fourth is Wii.

I try to always make a point when recording to have the phone down as much as I can manage, so I can actually watch the event with my special eyes.
- Comment on Is there music I haven't heard because I only speak English? 1 month ago:
I kind of imagine this as a question of genre more than language.
Like reggae being primarily Jamaican or Caribbean. Do non English have entire genres of music that I’ve missed?

Especially when you play and realize out of that 400m about 300m was spent on 16k graphics for an unoptimized engine, 75m on marketing, and less than 5m on the actual gameplay.

- Comment on Amazon started hiding ratings for some products 2 months ago:
I posted a review of a rechargeable mountable lamp that didn’t work, wouldn’t charge. Popped it open because it was broke and I walked to figure out why.
Turns out the electronics caught fire and burnt out. The review was never authorized and never showed up in the site.
I hate Amazon so much, I cannot convince my wife to drop it.

I get that Biden was pretty damn passive as a president, but holy moly was it just a relief for a while there to be able to completely forget the president even existed and wasn’t actively destroying the world’s view on the USA.
Like those 4 years were like sitting down for the first time.

I wonder if this could also be used kind of like flushing your hot water heater.
If I run my car low consistently, agitate whatever is in there, wouldn’t I eventually clear out most of it leaving less and less impurities?

I get the 2nd point is inaccurately assumed, but it’s a going point to possibly bring up just really just how much fossil fuel is being burned by the factory in travel alone.
If you need the electricity of a whole city, then every day those cars are burning that much.
- Comment on And no paper towels to use on the handle 4 months ago:
Anecdotal evidence but, the most common touch-less features in a bath room are the dryer and soap, the two things you only ever touch once and when you are not in a transitional phase.
The sink I tend to find is usually a handle you have to physically touch, when dirty and when clean, it is such a waste. Bring back the Elementary School foot pedals for sinks (and toilets for flushing).
I randomly mentioned that if I ever find a used Hospital Surgery Scrub Sink, I will repurpose an area in the house just to use it.
