I get that Biden was pretty damn passive as a president, but holy moly was it just a relief for a while there to be able to completely forget the president even existed and wasn’t actively destroying the world’s view on the USA.
Like those 4 years were like sitting down for the first time.

Fun fact, Eastern box turtles are illegal to keep as pets in Ohio if captured in the wild.

I wonder if this could also be used kind of like flushing your hot water heater.
If I run my car low consistently, agitate whatever is in there, wouldn’t I eventually clear out most of it leaving less and less impurities?

I get the 2nd point is inaccurately assumed, but it’s a going point to possibly bring up just really just how much fossil fuel is being burned by the factory in travel alone.
If you need the electricity of a whole city, then every day those cars are burning that much.
- Comment on And no paper towels to use on the handle 3 weeks ago:
Anecdotal evidence but, the most common touch-less features in a bath room are the dryer and soap, the two things you only ever touch once and when you are not in a transitional phase.
The sink I tend to find is usually a handle you have to physically touch, when dirty and when clean, it is such a waste. Bring back the Elementary School foot pedals for sinks (and toilets for flushing).
I randomly mentioned that if I ever find a used Hospital Surgery Scrub Sink, I will repurpose an area in the house just to use it.

Honestly, I like Waffle House. I am also not getting massive meals when I go. My kids get Waffles and Bacon, I get a Bacon Egg and Cheese. Our whole bill is maybe 20 bucks, which after materials and the time involves isn’t much more than at home.

My most favorite story about eyesight:
I went to the BMV here to get my license renewed. I am in line about 3-4 people back and an old man, presuming like 75-80 is at the counter. Lady is effectively yelling at the dude he is so hard of hearing, “put your face against the visor, you will see a light blink to the left or the right, just tell me which side you see the blinking light”. A regular peripheral vision test.
Man puts his face against the visor, and stands there. Lady asks “do you see a light?”. Man responds “What light??”. This goes back and forth about 5 to 6 times. Eventually the lady just says “THERE IS A LIGHT ON THE LEFT DO YOU SEE IT?”. The Dude fully pivots his entire body to look left within the visor, “oh yea I see a little light”. She asks for a signature and he goes to get his picture taken.
Man in front of me turns around, he and I just look at each other in disbelief that he just legally got permission to drive a car. He cannot hear anything, and can barely see anything, in a car on the road.

This is something I have suggested around my circles for a long time. But to keep it away from “age-discrimination” I’d be happy to have a re-test every 5 years when your license expires. Alternating between retaking the written test and practical test. So driving test every 10.

Good call.
I will say, I do go out of my way to buy from local spots. I’ve thought about trying to negotiate with some Local Game Store types about prices. I want to buy from LGS but if the price is twice that of Amazon I do find it challenging, if it was like 50% up from Amazon I’d do it, but double is a bit too big of a difference to me in some cases.
- Comment on Trying to find a messenger bag at Amazon 4 months ago:
ebay. You get pretty much the same offerings but at least on ebay the people selling actually care about looking good since negative reviews really tank your scores and those actually matter.

My issue is mostly that this is a “Mo money mo problems” situation. I did single player for B42 and I REALLY liked it. Going back to B41 is like swapping back to 480p from UHD.
