Or check his drivers license that shows he uses hand controls, or look in his car to see the hand controls and handicap sticker, or simply look at his legs that you can tell even through his pants that they have zero muscle mass, or run a background check on the woman who had done this to someone else and got arrested for it in the past, or see that the guys house has a wheelchair ramp, or not get an arrest warrant based on one person’s accusation, or see that a guy who was married with a family for the past decade had not been living with the woman like 2 days prior to the assault and that the guy has an alibi from several other people during the time of the alleged assault…

I am a disability support worker, and can absolutely attest that depending on the injury level and their age/muscle tone, something as dumb as pushing them sideways a bit can dump them on the floor.
Hell, the young ones do it to each other to be jerks lol. I’ve joined a stadium full of people teasing one of my clients for not wearing his seatbelt because he fell out of his chair with an epic splat after being bumped.
