- Comment on With a Nintendo Switch 2 on the way, I hope Valve make a Steam Deck 2 1 week ago:
I have been wanting a steam deck but can’t justify it yet having a Switch already. I am seriously considering skipping Switch 2 and going for 2nd gen Steam Deck instead.
- Comment on Is there a "canvas" of the universe? Do we even know? Would a canvas follow the same laws as the paint? 2 weeks ago:
That is the key to almost everything. Quantum mechanics is neat and tidy. Space time is neat and tidy. They don’t play well with each other, though. Some scientists say that we need to figure out dark matter and dark energy to make them play together. Others say they are so incompatible that we need new science altogether to figure it out.

- Comment on Worried about being "red flagged" by the pharmacy; should I take the rest of my script back? 5 weeks ago:
Like everyone else here…your over thinking it.
That med is barely anything to worry about. Your doctor prescribed it, take it.
Trust me, you’ll know when you’re on the serious stuff when you have to get a new script every month that makes you go to the doctor just for a refill.
- Comment on How does the day-to-day work of not wearing shoes in the house? 5 weeks ago:

Have you heard of dark energy and matter?

- Comment on A night at the theater with Neil deGrasse Tyson 1 month ago:
I give him all the props on keeping me engaged with nerdy science and space stuff after schooling. But damn does he come across as an asshat the last 10 years or so.
I much prefer the team on How the Universe Works to keep relatively up to date.
Does anyone have recommendations on bleeding edge science channels that respect my intelligence but can speak like I’m not a post grad astro physicist?
- Comment on 30 movie directors with movies with an IMDB rating higher and 7.5 and 50.000 votes 2 months ago:
I’d guess to make sure the score was averaged across a decent sized pool to minimize outliers.

Downside is, your plastic trash probably isn’t staying near where you live.

Blumhouse production, Garner acting, and tied to the rather good Invisible Man? I’m in.

It had an odd flow to it, like entire pieces of the story were cut.

- Comment on American bully XL dogs to be banned by end of year - Sunak 8 months ago:
Read this as some new version of American bulldogs. Glad to know it’s not the same breed.
- Comment on Do you lucid dream? 8 months ago:
I just thought I had insanely vivid dreams and that everyone had them. A lot of times I can influence the narrative or willingly change things. About half the time I can wake up from one and go back to sleep and continue the dream.
- Comment on Sea of Stars sold 100,000 copies on day one 8 months ago:
I just finished Chained Echoes, really surprised at the quality. I’m hoping Stars at the very least equals it.
