- Comment on When leftists say "landlord are parasites" or similar dislike of landlords, do they also mean the people that own like a couple of houses as an investment, or only the big landlords? 1 week ago:
People will always have a chance to rent since apartments exist, but people do not have a chance to buy houses
- Comment on ‘Delay, Deny, Defend’: United Has Faced Scrutiny Over Denying Claims 2 weeks ago:
The shooter’s motive and identity still remained unknown on Thursday, and no evidence has emerged that the killer was a UnitedHealthcare customer.
I wouldn’t be surprised if it was an employee, and not a customer

Not Educated Employed or Trained
People who made it to adulthood without doing anything in life. Commonly they are carried by their parents. They live in the basement/most secluded room in the house, play video games and jerk off all day, eat frozen pizzas and chicken tenders, and usually do this until they’re like 50 years old, crusty, and their parents die.
I know a couple. Dropped out of highschool, and have been coasting for over a decade off their rich parents, never leave the house, never had a job. Been that way for over a decade with no signs of change.

Soldiers are not civilians, and Russian state media are the only ones who report that Ukrainians have invaded the Russian border. Try again

My mortgage is significantly less than my last apartment down the road. $2700 vs $2100. And I get equity instead of throwing away my income to a faceless real estate corporation for no gain. Owning a house is 100% better in every way, unless you need to quickly move for some reason.
But when you do move, you sell your house for ✨ profit ✨ because the housing market only goes UP for some retarded reason.

I don’t, it’s strictly better than renting

- Comment on Anon plays shirts vs skins 2 months ago:
Highschool in hicktown, our salty freak of a gym teacher would let girls stay inside and walk laps.
Boys go outside to play whatever sport, or sometimes go to the tiny wrestling room for dodgeball, and it’d be shirt v skins. Usually he’d pick the fat kids to be skins cuz they needed more “motivation”.
Weird to me that people think shirts v skins is fake when there’s way weirder shit schools do to kids. We had our biology teacher take the class to his barn down the road and help shear his alpacas for extra credit. Like, school staff can do whatever the hell they want, and kids will just say “okay” if they don’t know any better.
- Comment on I just opened an overpriced can of fancy soup and on the label, along with the expected stuff like 'gluten-free' and 'GMO-free,' was 'mustard free' and 'celery free.' Is that a thing now? 2 months ago:
Mustard belongs nowhere. It should not exist. It is an affront to God. I want this label placed on all food.
- Comment on Should i be giving a shit about my posture? 2 months ago:
I’ve had DOGSHIT posture my whole life. Don’t really care about it.
Now I have a bulging disk and a schmorl hernia in my spine. When that shit starts hurting, it’s genuinely paralyzing. Worse than breaking a bone, and the spine does not heal.
I don’t think you have to build a lifestyle around stretching, yoga, proper posture, and mobility exercises, but dear god do some little things to keep your knees, spine, and neck in working order

You put it in a tube sock cold. You can whip it through a window, and then it will slowly warm up throughout the day and smell fucking awful. Do this to people you hate while they’re at work.
- Comment on [Technology Connections] Thermoelectric cooling: it's not great. 2 months ago:
You can have cold drinks, just don’t buy these products to cool them.
I’ve got a cooler and an ice pack, cost $5 from a thrift store and keeps my shit cold for a whole day

- Comment on how do I accept I'll never know why any employer rejected me? 3 months ago:
If job candidates are suing because they believe a company is being particularly inappropriate, that is at direct cost to the candidate who 99/100 times has less resources than a company. And they will be snuffed out in court in a jury trial if they are clowning around with the legal system.
The company will also pay, but in that same 99/100 times the company will have more resources to fight in court in most states. It’s in the best interests of communities, culture, and the people’s right to force the legal battle upwards instead of downwards

Sure, but that doesn’t allow me to bring home a family worth of groceries, or let me drive 4-5 hours away to see family for the holidays, or give me a way to drop my partner off at the airport with three suitcases for work conferences, or a way to get my 110lb dog to the vet.
The bike is not a replacement for a car, not even if it’s an expensive e-bike.
