Reminds me of a python script I wrote for kicks that would grab a random famous historical figure from wikipedia then wrongly attribute a quote that it scrapped from/r/shitty-advice. It was pretty entertaining.

The problem is, I have this big bag of stones in my glass house, and I want to throw them at the UK for being dumb, but if I do, I also have to admit the US education system is trash.

I defiantly agree that you need a doctorate degree to type that word.

Lou Gehrig and James Parkinson really dropped the ball as far as naming a disease goes. Way to make it all about you.

Agreed, Exxon is a horrible company but I hear the pay is good. It would be tough for an ex-con to get a job as well.

That movie was inexplicably bad based on the two leads. Guessing Apple saw the writing on the wall.

Not sure I can let you get awat with that.

Idk, this fight kinda makes me sad. Tyson should be playing with his grand kids at some retirement community in south Florida. Jake Paul can get fucked, he’s obviously playing to Tyson’s ego.

That reminds me of the time I took a date to go see “The Hills Have Eyes”. It was a dine-in theater, and I had gotten breadsticks and marinara. We just sat down and started to eat, and the date was going pretty good. If you’ve ever seen that movie, the opening scene is a jump scare right off the bat. I had a mouth full of breadstick and was actively holding the cup full of marinara that I launched directly into her chest because I jumped. Anyways, the date didn’t work out and it was pretty awkward for the rest of the movie.

Look, I’m no guillotine-ologist, but I think if I was going to construct one I would forgo my usual method of measure once and cut 5 to 10 times until I have to go get another board because I’ve destroyed the last one.

Real Sex always seemed so not sexy. I mean, I’d watch it for boobs as a kid, but I was always kind of turned off by the whole show, idk.

- Comment on The 10 worst movies of the 2010s, ranked 3 months ago:
I actually thought of Dumb and Dumberer after I saw Beetlejuice 2. Those two movies are like opposite sides of the spectrum for movie reboots. I liked the new Beetlejuice and thought they did the original justice where as Dumb and Dumberer seemed like a blatant cash grab. I don’t really remember any of the scary movie franchise except for 1 & 2, but I assume they get progressively.

- Comment on What can I do with US$10K that is a good investment? 3 months ago:
I got a 7k bonus 20 years ago in the military. I seriously considered investing it in the Vangard total stock market index fund. In '04 it was trading at $54 per share, today $282. Had I invested that $7,000 I would have $365,555 today. Instead I “invested” it at the strip club because I was a young dumb E-3 in Pensacola and New Orleans was only a weekend pass away. Long story short, index funds are the way to go.

Cautiously optimistic for this one. Amazon series can be hit or miss, that being said, I really liked the Fallout show.

Haven’t seen it yet, but if it’s got xenomorphs I’m in. I like all the Alien movies, even the “bad” ones like 3 and 4. I even liked the original aliens vs predators.
