The helldiver’s two launch cutscene does show an interracial couple in a state propaganda video. Racism is one of the few ways the game doesn’t to my knowledge show the government being fucked up. Everything else is horrible though

They started a three front war ,prioritize citizens differently based on a state defined class system, got the earth blown up on at least one occasion, use their soldiers as disposable cannon fodder, and send everyone who disagree with them to reeducation camps. Other than that its a swell place.
Its tiring how bad general media literacy is that I can’t tell if the 4chan post above is a joke.

This is not even remotely close to being a released product so far as I can tell. It’s running on two RTX 5090s in series.

One of the first things Trump did his first term was gut the USDA’s rural investment arm. Why? Because if his supporters were made poorer and more frustrated they would blame it on someone else and be more likely to turn out to vote. It worked. Probably doesn’t help Fox didn’t report on it.

Ehh. I’m not seeing evidence that was in any way pointed at people. In the aftermath of the Ukrainian strikes on Russia’s strategic bombers it became quite apparent that leaving your air force out unprotected in your own country is a shortcut to losing a lot of it at once. The US Air Force has the same problem the Russian VKS had: lots of expensive planes out in the open scattered over a massive country that anyone can get drones or explosives into.

Control 2 should hopefully be fine as the CEO is new and it is scheduled for the first half of the year (They told investors 2026H2 and no one would lie to investors /s). Not so sure about anything else.

In the wikipedia article:
DuckDuckGo’s results are a compilation of “over 400” sources according to itself, including Bing, Yahoo! Search BOSS, Wolfram Alpha, Yandex, and its own web crawler (the DuckDuckBot); but none from Google.[69][7][70][71][72] It also uses data from crowdsourced sites such as Wikipedia, to populate knowledge panel boxes to the right of the search results.[71][73] During a Bing API outage in 2024, DuckDuckGo stopped showing results, indicating that Bing provided a substantial portion of DuckDuckGo’s results.[74][75]

There are really only two usable search engines actually indexing the entire Internet: Google and Bing. Yandex also does but I’ve never seen it recommended for anything other than Russian language content (the company itself seems to be falling down a mineshaft at the moment). Baidu also does some although every Chinese exchange student I talked to about it (admittedly not many) advised only using it when Google is blocked. Every other engine is just wrapping Google or Bing (yes that includes Yahoo and DDG)
