None of the things you mentioned sound even remotely plausible though. 🥲
- Comment on In the US, what is stopping people from bribing members of the electoral college? 5 weeks ago:
Yes, electoral college should be abolished. It’s probably not gonna happen though, so this is a temporary band-aid solution that many states have implemented.

The pain of drinking chamomile tea does have a masking effect.
- Comment on Why are laptop adapters so much larger than phone adapters of same power rating? 1 month ago:
Ok, I guess I misinterpreted what you said. My laptop only has a DC barrel port. I want to charge it using any of the high wattage GaN chargers. To do that, I’ll need something that converts the USB-C to barrel, and does the voltage negotiations. But thanks anyway. Maybe this’ll help someone else.

Hey, I’m interested in the last thing. Can you give me some details on how to do it? I’d love not to carry around the bulky stock charger.

You can cheat by doing it right after ejaculation.

Were all the tests available at the same time? Usually there are different times for submitting tests and also for assignments. I’ve never taken a course where you can just submit them whenever you want. For assignments, maybe, possibly with some penalty. But never for tests.

- Comment on I think I am socially ostrasized, what should I do? 3 months ago:
Getting a job won’t make things easier. Most people need human connection and friends to live a fulfilling life. I think you might be imagining that people dislike you, as we socially awkward people often do. Just try talking to people, and you’ll surely make a few friends. I’m socially awkward, but make it a point to attend many social gatherings outside of classes/job so that I’m basically forced to talk to people, no matter how hard it is. There will definitely be people who will appreciate your personality, just give them the chance to get to know you.

It’s good that OP mentioned that it’s “furred”. Otherwise, I might’ve mistaken it for a man.

There’s a (pretty great) movie where cannibalism is treated as a substitute for sex. It’s called Aamis.

Honestly, if I’m told that I need to watch something in a weird order in order to enjoy it, I just drop it from my watchlist. There’s plenty of good media to watch, I’m not gonna do that stupid shit.

- Comment on Does anyone else feel like fireworks are a complete waste of money and a ridiculous amount of unnecessary Pollution? 5 months ago:
I’m not totally against fireworks. As others have mentioned, sometimes we do need to just have some fun and not worry about the consequences. But they should be done far from residential area, so that unwilling people (e.g. vets, children, or pets) aren’t disturbed. (Honestly though, I wish we didn’t have any vets with PTSD, that’s the worse problem. As long as we still have wars, I’d say let the people have some fun.)

It depends. It’s perfectly acceptable to boil the tea for many Indian preparations (usually called cha or chai).

I remember there being some Android phone (some generation of Samsung Galaxy S series probably) with a “feature” where it pauses video playback if you look away from it. Good thing it didn’t catch on.

- Comment on Do 9-5 jobs still exist in the U.S.? 6 months ago:
Most high-skill jobs (e.g. software dev, engineering, research, teaching in university) are usually flexible with time. No one really cares when you come or go as long as you get the work done. People (read, good-for-nothing management people) are trying to make some of these more time-bound, but it’s usually counter-productive. Turns out when you want creativity from someone, you need to give them some freedom.
