  I get when like they pre-make a bunch of shirts for both sports teams in a competition. And for the losing team they send them to some country where the shirts have no meaning or cultural significance. But why Covid 19?

    Most people follow sports (some even watch football) in India, and most can also read English. It’s probably a deliberate joke.

  Kovid is a plausible Indian name (the developer of Calibre is named Kovid Goyal). Not sure if spelling it with a C is common, though.
