- Comment on The fall of Firefox: Mozilla's once-popular web browser slides into irrelevance 10 months ago:
I mean, you can argue that Google actually has a monopoly on web browsers right now. iirc Firefox takes a ton of money from Google, so if the choices are “Google’s proprietary browser” or “a non-Chromium browser backed by Google” (EDIT: unless you’re on Apple hardware and use Safari), then Google comes out on top either way.
Wish we could get another good browser engine that isn’t Chromium, WebKit, or Quantum.

XCOM: Enemy Within on Classic difficulty.
It’s been the dragon I’ve been chasing for a decade, but I’ll squadwipe on a mission that fucks up my entire run, ragequit, and never touch it again for a year or three, then go “how come I never beat it?” and start the vicious cycle again.
This is only vanilla btw, don’t even get me started on my Long War “attempts” (read: repeated wipes within the first couple of months).

As perplexing as the thought of “blood and gore good, nudity bad” is, legally I can see why Microsoft would take the heavy-handed approach.
If the dude in the article were to, say, share those scenes with somebody under 18 (which iirc is illegal since you’re distributing pornographic material to a minor), it’s probably not crazy of a stretch to say that Microsoft is legally liable for that happening on their platform. Easier to just do a carpet ban all-around to avoid it in the first place.

Why not both?
4-day work week means less stress and more time to rest and be healthy, and a NHS system would also be very good as well.

Nah, it’d probably be more like:
Security Field Tester (Jan 6, 2021): Part of a group that organized a large-scale “peaceful march” in order to thoroughly check security protocols for the Capitol building. Duties included attempts at theft to see if we’d be stopped, testing window durability by attempting to break them, engaging physically with security staff in riot gear to test security training, and shouting terroristic threats in order to see how secure government protocols were in the event of a riot at a governmental building.

Off-topic, but when I mentioned this in a different thread, an actual answer I got is basically the fediverse is really similar to reddit - how can the culture be any different?
Anyways, if the fediverse starts to become Reddit 2.0 I think it would be high time to go.

Vermintide 2 has finally hooked me. I now completely understand what it truly means to collect books and kill rats, and how much fun such activities can be.
Got all the characters up to lv30 so now I’m finally dipping my toes into Legend QPs so I can prepare for the hardest difficulty, Cataclysm.

I think Disco Elysium said it best:
One may dye their hair green and wear their grandma's coat all they want. Capital has the ability to subsume all critiques into itself. Even those who would critique capital end up reinforcing it instead…
So you’ve effectively done what they wanted OP - and I wouldn’t be surprised if this turned out to be some lowkey marketing effort or something tbh.
- Comment on Recommend a game for me to play with my partner 11 months ago:
Might be not as recent, but the Trine series might be worth a look. I would also recommend Magicka, but that can be chaotic at times so I am not sure if that would be a good fit or not.
Since they mentioned action games as an option, honestly Vermintide 2 can be a super fun co-op game and is very enjoyable across the easiest and hardest difficulties. It’s Warhammer Fantasy so the aesthetic is gonna be more grimdark and gory than cute, but holy fucknuggets is the gameplay good. Cool thing is the game is very much “easy to pick up, hard to master”, so for casual ratslaying it’s a nice chill game on anything below “Champion” difficulty, and on “Champion” and above you start caring more about mechanics like pusheblocking, dodging, kiting bosses, stagger, cleave, weapon properties… you can go pretty deep lol.

- Comment on One of Star Wars’ best FPS games is getting remastered in February | VGC 1 year ago:
Imo the KOTOR games do not need a remake. A remaster? Maybe for KOTOR 1 and definitely for KOTOR 2, if only to add the Restoration Mod to it.
I’d rather they either try to get 1313 greenlit somehow or have Larian do a KOTOR 3.
- Comment on This concept for budget double decker airline seating 1 year ago:
Adding onto this, the cabin design in OP’s post looks like it would 100% break your legs if the plane were to ever crash. It would absolutely suck to be in a plane crash and have your lega broken.
