Hard to pardon someone who hasn’t like…been convicted or impeached yet. For some reason.
- Comment on Is being apolitical and being Independents in politics the exact same thing? 2 days ago:
No.
Apolitical means you don’t care about politics or you don’t really hold enough interest to discuss it at any degree.
Independent in politics means, you’re going your own way about how you take in the issues and causes around you than the two parties.
- Comment on Will an ISP get on to you for downloading porn? Or will it just be a generic DMCA strike? 2 days ago:
Porn wouldn’t be any different. If they, the distributor of the content of said porn, thinks and knows you didn’t pay for it and downloaded it anyways. They could send a notice to your ISP who’ll then send you a notice to you about it to do something about it.

I’m going to have to step in and correct you on something because I’ve followed the news of TorrentFreak for years and noted how the entertainment industry has focused their tactics.
From the 2000s through early 2010s, they went after everyone and I mean everyone. Everyone who both downloaded and distributed what they considered copyright infringement. They’ve targeted many people, including people who both were old and didn’t have internet but sued them anyways for thousands of dollars.
However at somepoint in the mid-2010s, they changed tactics. They know it’s a losing battle to go after so many downloaders because piracy was more adopted. So, they decided to go after distributors and those who stream what they see as illegal.
I’m pretty positive though that if they still wanted to, they’ll take down a downloader, if you make a blip on the radar. I don’t exactly know what it’ll take but it has to be significant enough to grab their attention. But for now, they’re after site owners, streamers, distributors and notorious individuals who house a lot of downloaded content.
- Comment on What was the actual reason for the crusade against NSFW games? 4 days ago:
Because apparently, from looking at the comments, some people think there’s no limit to NSFW games. When, there is.
- Comment on Why do so many older people talk to themselves in public? 4 days ago:
I do it sometimes from experience, I speak some of my thoughts aloud. I guess it gives some semblance of sanity, I’m guessing. I feel odd for doing it but I do it anyways.

And this too will also be freaking online-only. I don’t know why I got Diablo IV, but I have it and I haven’t touched it. Because I once revisited Diablo III to see if I can stoke interest in it, to find that I had connection issues, then remembered “Oh right, it’s also ONLINE-ONLY”.
I’m sick of this shit being online only.

You know, I don’t particularly care about having the need to see every freaking pore on someone’s model. I hate graphic purists.

Unfortunately, you’re not the demographic the industry is looking for. What they want now is obedient, but expendable staff who’ll only be on long enough to see a project done. Then you’re discarded. The other pocket of people they’d want is, you know what type.
You’re better of being your own independent video game worker.

This whole industry is job security hell. Man, people decades ago dreamed of being somewhere in the industry. I don’t really know now who’d want to be in it knowing how awful job security even is.

- Comment on Despite Steam's concerning domination over the market, one of the things that I love about it is... 2 weeks ago:
I hate how steam reviews have turned into yet more soapboxes to get political over than reviewing the games themselves.
Why should I care about how you feel about a publisher when you reviewed one of their older games just to project your opinion?
- Comment on Despite Steam's concerning domination over the market, one of the things that I love about it is... 2 weeks ago:
Same. Especially after I’ve had shithead trolls from Steam Forums shit all over my reviews to where I went through the process of tediously re-posting 120 reviews. Yeah, real pieces of work the people are in those forums.
- Comment on Why does watching or partaking in mainstream media make me uncomfortable? 3 weeks ago:
I’m going to have to answer this based on my personal experience and I’d know because your detailing is very similar.
Mainstream content reinforces the idea that the world and society all but feel manufactured. They’re the things that got chosen to be popular, they’re what is going to be market, they’re what is going to be talked about and so on and so forth. Sometimes it is chosen but other times, there’s definitely a formula in the works that just gravitates people instantly.
That’s all fine and well. But if you’re an individual who’ve developed their own tastes and you’re not getting in any engagement with anyone about those tastes, you’re going to get lost in the fold very quickly because you’re not part of what everyone considers the ‘in’ thing.
Your last bit tells me that it’s a you-thing. You dropped everything that you liked, because why? Because you saw merchandise being made in a store? But it’s like, did anyone force what you enjoyed down your throat? You’re waiting for the hype to die down? I don’t get that, because all that you’re doing, is limiting your personal enjoyment and your personal moderation about how much you enjoy something.
You don’t have to go out, buy the merchandise, buy anything that so much has your favorite thing on it. You don’t have to engage with the mass volume of the community that gets noisy to engage. You’ve sucked out whatever interest that was left over things that are optional. It’s one thing if a series changes because of fan demand, that I can understand and it has happened to people’s favorite series.
But if a series is still going for what it is, unaltered and naturally enjoyed but still popular but you want to sit it out anyways? That’s kindof on you.

- Comment on Was it really a big deal what Kyle Grass said on his birthday, that he wished the shooter did not miss (referring to Trump) in Australia? Kind of seems like he's been blacklisted along side Jack Black 3 weeks ago:
I would’ve said the same thing. I mean, Trump has been spending every single day, rallying his voterbase for years, to commit violence among those he and they themselves, do not like. ICE has been treated like his personal modern day gestapo. I too wish that that the shooter didn’t miss, would’ve saved millions in America so much hassle, trouble, stress and division.
