I love that subreddit. I’ve always had a soft spot for bald dudes since I got really into industrial metal as a teenager.

That’s awesome!

I absolutely love this. I worked with mentally ill adults and children and I knew a few who could use some custom lessons about hygiene.

Personally, even if I was horny and desperate, I wouldn’t want to be approached that way lol! Definitely not with unsolicited dick pics.

They would have been acceptable

We love character growth!
I guess I should explain a little more: when people approach me with the intent to sext, or whatever, most of them are terrible and disrespectful about it. People who just message me to be like “I like your art!” (i’m a porno artist) or whatever still comprise most of the messages I get and those people are generally good :)
- Comment on How polite 1 week ago:
I’ve had a few dudes approach me in a similar way. If you’re interacting in porno spaces online, it’s more common than you’d think, butt unfortunately still a lot less common than dudes who don’t treat me like a person.

I need to come back to read this later

I get where you’re coming from. It’s kind of annoying when other pro-choice people smugly treat pregnancy and sometimes even children as inherently undesirable all the time. But like other people have already pointed out, the purpose of the post was never to convince anyone, it’s just being funny.

Does popping a cone on the hood still work? I don’t live close enough to the airport to try it anymore

I think you nailed it tbh
- Comment on that’s why it’s just a summer fling 2 weeks ago:
Makes sense to me, the tone is obviously pretty flippant and silly, but of course it’s going to be met with a lot of projection and “this woman ruined my life!!!!!”
- Comment on that’s why it’s just a summer fling 2 weeks ago:
It probably wasn’t intended to be, but a lot of the comments are from incels. Like that super real story about the guy’s friend who went to jail supposedly with no evidence against him.
What is it about meme communities that always attract misogyny?
- Comment on Kitty looking thicc 2 weeks ago:
🤨 Stop sealioning. If you believe women are uniquely apart from the other half of humanity in that we’re generally trying to scam them, and not so much the other way around, just admit that.
- Comment on Kitty looking thicc 2 weeks ago:
It’s definitely a misogynistic mindset, yeah. Women put on clothes for a variety of reasons like staying warm and avoiding sunburn, and sometimes we also pick clothes we find aesthetically flattering (shockingly men also do this). Calling it “advertising” comes from a perspective that women are necessarily focused only on men, and trying to trick men.
- Comment on Kitty looking thicc 2 weeks ago:
Not who you replied to but appreciate the heads up anyway. Misogyny online is such a bummer and I routinely forget it’s on me to curate my experience and all I have to do is hit the block button, lol. Your comment interrupted my rage-bait loop, gracias.

Oh no, but there are always gonna be phases where you hate your art no matter how good you get
Eep, I guess it really is like everything else!
- Comment on This one's for the gardeners ;) 2 weeks ago:
I had a friend once who told me that he really thinks the difference between people who are “good with plants” and people who aren’t is that the former just keeps trying, they don’t give up when they lose one, they accept that happens sometimes. It’s a really beautiful thought but I would be totally lying if I said I wasn’t getting kinda discouraged lol
- Comment on Dead Space creator Glen Schofield is retiring after 35 years 2 weeks ago:
Lol, I can’t put my finger on it but that makes a lot of intuitive sense to me. Maybe because he started out at EA where he accidentally made some great art for a while before the tides shifted toward squeezing consumers even more aggressively.
- Comment on [deleted] 2 weeks ago:
But it’s reddit, without teal saying “women are smarter than you are,” giving orange the chance to explain, we’d never know if he was just being misogynist or actually making a joke :(
- Comment on Dead Space creator Glen Schofield is retiring after 35 years 2 weeks ago:
Last year, Schofield said that he was “100% behind AI,” in game development, comparing worries over the technology eliminating jobs to the motion capture or Photoshop.
Oh so he’s a hack. Now we know why The Callisto Protocol sucked.

If you’ve ever had to buy and sell a house, it’s a real pain in the ass. If you’re not really sure about a city yet, renting for a year makes more sense than buying, especially if you’re sure you want to stay longer than a hotel would make sense
Ummm that’s the only situation I can think of where it’s not just the picture on the right

I’m not totally sure why people are talking about food availability to me. The fact that there’s enough food means the earth IS meant to have 9 + billion people on it?
There will be some painful short-term consequences of population contraction, but no one has really convinced me we need to try to force people to have children yet, and “we could totally feed them” isn’t a compelling reason for forced reproduction either. Let the population decline if it’s going to!

The truth is that most of the worst things to ever happen to you will be done by people you already know and trust, not strangers, regardless of race!
