Reflect upon how you are acting. Empathize with the other person’s POV. Then discuss rationally from a point of mutual benefit.

- Comment on Which Pipes to choose (Newpipe, Pipepipe, Piped Invidious...etc)? 1 week ago:
I started with Tubular but switched over to PipePipe. They are barely distinguishable but PipePipe seems to have a bigger userbase and frequent updates. The reason I use them over NewPipe itself is that they have SponsorBlock integrated, which I view as a requirement for using YouTube.

The point is that today the term only serves to delegitimize what should be accepted practice (installing whatever software you want on the machine you paid for) by making it sound like some secondary/shady behavior. Thus allowing phone manufacturers to maintain their walled gardens and control over consumers.
- Comment on A reminder that Howard Stern exploited an autistic woman - an interpretive dancer named Suzanne Muldowney, most notable for her heroic, serious and dignified portrayal of Underdog in 1992. Seriously! 3 weeks ago:
Stem had a lot of questionable content back in the day. To him and his audience this was just some crazy lady that was cosplaying as the underdog and they felt fine ridiculing her.

Then IMO follow what makes you feel right. In general just avoid taking things to extremes.

Life is about balance. You dont want to be a reclusive masturbation addict, and you don’t want to be an anxious frustrated nofapper.
- Comment on Is there still anyway to bypass Youtube "Sign in to confirm your age" bullshit in 2026? 3 weeks ago:
PipePipe allows me to watch videos without signing in that ask for “sign in to confirm you’re not a bot” on the normal YouTube interface.
There may be videos that are age-restricted or otherwise account-locked that it can’t access I think, but I haven’t run into them.

Thanks for your reply. Here are my rebuttals:
Is AI killing the planet, or is capitalism and addiction to fossil fuels?
Capitalism was already killing the planet, but the rush to invest in AI has demonstrably accelerated it.
If AI was 100 renewable and run based on community consent, would it still be “killing the planet”?
No. But thats not the scenario we are in.
In what way does AI “steal” in any way more significantly than an artist uses another artist for inspiration or a coder uses another open source project for their code?
Because artists are people with consciousness and feeling and the capability for novel thought. AI is not. Believing it’s doing the same thing as human thinking is being suckered by the hype.
How does AI widen inequality worse than it has been already, and is that solely the result of AI or is it just a product of capitalism?
This is a big one, but without guardrails it’s definitely poised to hurt working people and enrich the powerful, which therefore drives further inequality (which yes, was already bad as a product of modern capitalism). And those guardrails are not in place, and will not be put into place if we just follow along as they want us to.

Kills the planet
Steals from artists
Widens inequality
Puts people out of work
Reinforces prejudices
Makes us stupid
Makes everything generic
Blows up the economy
Supports oligarchs
Can’t be trusted, hallucinates and lies
Overhyped

True. In what ways can we get more men to understand the patriarchy is their real enemy?

- Comment on We have heard time and time again Hollywood and the Media are liberal assests. I disagree with that statement. But has it always been so called liberal? When did it start? 4 weeks ago:
Funny since rednecks have everything to gain from left wing working class solidarity and elites have everything to gain from right wing trickle-down economics.
