This shit is so annoying on GitHub. I feel like changes to a codebase are something that really makes sense to describe in hard dates and times. Telling me that some dumbass (me) introduced a bug “3 months ago” is not enough info, especially when it was actually 3 months and 24 days.

I struggle to believe that anyone is 100.00% straight or gay. Like, really? You’re straight, sure… But there’s not one person? One situation? One perfect storm of circumstances where you’d try swinging the other way just a little bit?

- Comment on How possible is it that Trump is doing some "insider trading" regarding the possible Iran strike in Polymarket? 5 days ago:
You mean the guy that sold stock, intentionally tanked the stock market, bought back in, then went on TV to brag about how much money he and his inner circle made on the pump and dump? He would never!
But on a serious note, we have consistently seen major bets placed on polymarket hours before trump does something. If it isn’t him, someone close is making bank on being in the know.

4th ending doesn’t matter because after the AI A bubble pops companies will do mass layoffs to reduce costs and nobody will have the income needed to buy components at normal price. By the time things start to stabilize there’ll be some new reason consumers are priced out of the hardware market.

Donald Trump was unironically obsessed with Edward Pattinson and Kristen Stewart’s relationships. Had multiple crashouts on Twitter about it.

No, rename it to the gulf of Barack Hussein Obama, just to troll him. Same with the Kennedy center. And the East Wing crater or whatever they’re pretending that’ll be.

We are approaching levels of transfem stereotypes that were previously thought to be impossible.
On a serious note, I’m very interested in mobile Debian. If I didn’t need Android for my job’s 2FA app I might try it. Maybe I’ve got an old phone somewhere that I can play around with.

Thanks, this reminded me of the time Chris Chan tried to roast Mike Pollack by telling him that Eggman’s name backwards kinda sounds like “nah, I’m gay.” I am now dying of terminal second-hand cringe.

The most annoying usage I’ve seen was a smaller company that used stars wars names for email distribution lists.
“Why did you forward this networking ticket to Chewbacca group? It’s supposed to go to BobaFett.”
Gee, I dunno, maybe because you use cutesy, non-descriptive names for email groups instead of just networkingsupport@company.com.

There’s Mexican food, there’s also American Ortega style Mexicanish food. Both have a place in my household’s dinner rotation.
This image depicts neither of those meals. This image is evidence from a crime scene.

Fucking hate seeing people talk about how we have “literal AI” now. No we don’t, we have LLMs that have been marketed as AI.

It’s satire. It’s a bunch of typical LinkedIn nonsense then the bait and switch at the end is that their dad just gave them a multi-six-figure position at an investment firm he runs.
Not sure why they blacked out so much of the post, the original is funny enough.

We are not prepared for what is going to happen in 2026
Lemme guess: yet another “unprecedented” or “once in a lifetime” shit storm that results in a massive wealth transfer to the 1% and a significant reduction in economic opportunities for the rest of us. You know, like every single year so far this decade.
