Yup. After taking a few years off after my shoulder surgery I started back at basically 0 weight, or 2.5lb if 0 didn’t make sense. I did 4 sets of 25 reps for each exercise with perfect form, and only stepped up the weight by 2.5lb when I could do all 100 reps without discomfort.
I’m still taking it slow, but I’m back up to 1 plate as my 15rm with squats, deadlifts, and bench press without pain. Hopefully I’ll be back to my pre-surgery 15rm of 2 plates soon.

That kinda sounds like when I tell people to unplug their router for a full minute because if I tell them 15 seconds they’ll only wait 5.

If your QA process can let known security flaws into production, then you need to redesign your QA process.
Also, no one ever said that the person generating 500 lines of code isn’t reviewing it themselves.

No one ever said push it to production without a code review.

There are absolutely varying levels of censorship, so saying “everyone censors so this is fine,” is disingenuous.

That’ll be a fun project for when my wife is out of town next (she’s the one that games on it).

I mean, that’s how it works for stuff that’s rusted shut. But you’re right that an acid, even vinegar, would be way more effective. And non-toxic in the case of vinegar.

Now that BG3 has a native Linux release, I’ll probably be killing my windows partition on that machine. I need to look into whether a proxmox VM can output directly to my GPU.

The article doesn’t say it dissolves mineral buildup. It penetrates the buildup to separate it from the surface it’s stuck to.

Even thin metal is hard to get to arc. Electroboom did an episode on it and he really struggled to get an arc, even with aluminum foil.

Kirk might not have directly oppressed anyone, but he absolutely advocated oppressing and even killing marginalized groups.

The problem is that shitty owners encourage shitty behavior because they think it’s cute. We have 2 chi mixes and they’re perfectly fine.

But I have eyes and the curve they picked as best fit is really poorly fitting. It’s such a poor fit that is almost in a dead zone of the random points.

Could it potentially be an object orbiting around the cosmic center that just so happens to have an orbital path that crosses us?
I have to admit that astronomy is what caused me to change majors, but that’s because I stopped going to class when the lesson was, “This is a terrestrial planet, it’s rocky,” and my first exam was like, “If it’s 5:45pm in Tanzina on October 15th, how many degrees is the moon above the horizon?”

The best Christians I’ve known weren’t overly religious people. They were just good people who did good things.
In my experience people who actually try to live by Jesus’s teachings don’t broadcast it every chance they get.

Our city council member is actually pretty great. He’s in our neighborhood group chat and will respond almost instantly to issues and get us the engineers reports before the city alert system does its thing.
