Seems to be a common format for greentext compilations.
I can’t read this shit either.

I liked it. But I also used the “classic” interface anyway, so…

DOS isn’t Windows. Consumer versions of Windows ran on top of DOS until XP was released in 2001.

Yikes. How’d that get resolved? If at all?
- Comment on Anon uses Windows 2 weeks ago:
Horrendously racist term aside, I feel for this dude. I’ve logged into Microsoft’s support forums more than a few times specifically to call out and report the mindless idiots who keep marking their own unhelpful comments as “solutions.”

Whatever Windows you matured with is the best Windows.
Except ME. We don’t talk about that one…

Work laptop = not your problem
I’m in the same situation. If I wanna dick around on the internet at work, I have my phone and personal laptop, which happens to be a Thinkpad T14 G1 (running LMDE 6) and blends right in.

You’re not wrong, and I agree in that it feels like W10 is where MS finally got it right.
However, hindsight is 20/20, and those sentiments were definitely not felt in the first few years after W10 was released. Once all the big issues were worked out and people figured out how to remove the bloat/spyware shit though, it was a solid OS.
What did W11 add that we didn’t have before? A TPM requirement? Ads? AI slop/shovelware/spyware?
W11 right now is essentially a shitty skin on top of W10, with more ad/spy/bloatware shit. The kernel is still version 10.x.whatever FFS 😅. But SHINY INTERFACE and ONEDRIVE

These are the people that companies like Apple pander to, with the whole “it just works” schtick.

Microsoft: you had a good thing with Windows <previous version>, and you pissed it all away when you put out the crap that is Windows <new version>.
Ftfy.
That said, there is something to be said for how popular Windows is, and the modifications and QoL improvements offered by 3rd party devs.

Because these characters aren’t built the same as old games. That was part of the magic of older games, using as few resources as possible but cleverly cutting the spirit into easily manipulated bit maps that can be flipped and rotated as necessary to animate the character.
These are overly detailed and missing the CRT effect.

Is that even still used for medical purposes?
Uh, yeah… Very much so. Pretty much every family has a bottle of it hanging around somewhere.

She’s easily the kindest, most loving, empathetic, and supportive person I’ve ever met. And the best part is that when I finally told her my feelings (after we reconnected), they were reciprocated immediately, much to my shock and amazement haha.

Have you seen that hair though?
- Comment on Anon envies the boomers 2 months ago:
That’s basically how my wife and I met. Except we were never exclusive because she was a really good friend and I didn’t wanna fuck that up. We ended up going our separate ways when she went off to college… We reconnected platonically years later, and then realized we were both getting divorced at the same time. One thing led to another, and we’ve been married for almost 2 years now.

I never went easy on my kids with video games. I did teach them how to properly trash-talk though, and how to recognize when trash-talk is and is not appropriate. I also remember when my kids finally beat me at Mario Kart after a really intense race; I nearly cried from how proud I was, because they were cheering each other on the whole time. It’s a cherished memory.
Remember, as long as everyone is having fun, it’s ok to tell them “git gud noob”
