It can be a hobby, sure. But men having a hobby isnt was was being discussed at all. Nobody cares about men having hobbies, the issue is when this hobby is a potential threat to other people. Isnt this rather obvious?
- Comment on Anon breaks up 2 weeks ago:
Are you really pretending this is about men having hobbies?

“Exerting control” or “getting you cknditioned to follow orders” is the default motive for conspiracy theories that people cant think of a good motive for. I heard it a lot about using masks during covid.

For tex, i would suggest taking a basic template, and writing what you need, looking up how to do things as you need them. Theres a bunch of documentation on sites like overleaf, and you can learn a lot by looking at stackexchange threads.

Nice mental gymnastics, but if 5 is so good, how come five five’s could is so bad? Who cares about the pentagon? The broad use of 5 everywhere just shows how its a banal number, how worthless it is. Now 25 os reserved for much greater things, any todler knows it shouldnt be overused.

As a mathematician i can sure you that 5, as you have assumed, is indeed less than 25.

Its the difference between maximum gayness and maximal gayness. Maximum gayness is being more gay, or at least as gay, as everybody else; while maximal gayness is not being less gay than anybody else (just as you put it). Two people with maximal gayness can have incomparable gaynessess, and thats the key thing about partial orderings, this possibility of incomparability. there could be many maximally gay people. they wouldnt be equally gay, but incomparably gay.

edge tracks user content while ddg doesnt. if you just rank by the height of the bar, different kinds of tracking get the same importance. But to me, tracking user content is between the worst kinds.

unnecessary traits might not always lead to extra cost, and even then, the extra cost might not always lead to extinction.
the extinction usually happens when a trait that represents a disadvantage in a sufficiently heavy competition for survival. If the competition is low enough, the trait may survive.

the logic is that they think white people deserve the land more. Its plain old racism.

If we have a federated messager that some people self host, would that actually be more secure? i dont know much about how federation works, but i imagine that an intelligence agency could make an instance that would federate to the others, listen to the metadata of the exchanges in the network and rebuild a social graph like a centralized server could. Is this a non-issue?

its a strategy, theyre not even being deceitful here, just pricing to their interests. theres so much evil stuff they do, but this example isn’t properly evil.
