  Same. I think that the Sun is directly behind the camera, so we pretty much dont see any shadows, which makes everything look flat

  I often have dreams where I have to pee, but can’t for some reason (can’t find the toilet, etc., haven’t had forcefields yet though)

  I wonder if it’s our brains recognizing the need for pee but still protecting us from pissing ourselves.

  Though I did have dreams where I did pee a lot and still woke up to dry sheets and full bladder.

  I think you’re confusing average with median. If 90% of people make it to 70, but 10% die before reaching 5 years, you’d have average life expectancy at birth of about 60, but 90% of the people will live longer. That’s why prehistoric life expectancy values are misleading. It wasn’t that uncommon to reach an older age, just a lot more humans didn’t survive the first few years

  I do miss that carefree goofing around. Now I need to design, plan, optimize, etc. I know how to do stuff (mostly), so there less exploration and discovery and more of just work.

  But at least stuff I make now is better hah (or at least I hope so)

  I think it’s rather that those buildings were built 50 years ago and they are still standing today as they were back then (some got thermal insulation and some color) but the inside could have been renovated last year, so it’s new

  With Valve talking about open ecosystems so much, I have glimmer of hope that they’ll move to RISC-V.
