Wouldnt be surprised if they added ads to Microsoft Teams or Google Meet (or whatever it’s called this month)

Looks pretty much like my first attempts lol
I do miss that carefree goofing around. Now I need to design, plan, optimize, etc. I know how to do stuff (mostly), so there less exploration and discovery and more of just work.
But at least stuff I make now is better hah (or at least I hope so)

I think it’s rather that those buildings were built 50 years ago and they are still standing today as they were back then (some got thermal insulation and some color) but the inside could have been renovated last year, so it’s new

With Valve talking about open ecosystems so much, I have glimmer of hope that they’ll move to RISC-V.
Probably not gonna happen though… At least not yet

If you had a DRM-free version on a CD and you lost that CD, would you just pirate that game? Not trying to judge or anything (I’ve sailed the seas myself), just genuinely curious

Syncing the view state between different browsers is pretty impressive. Too bad they were to preoccupied with whether they could

I think I get what you’re trying to say, that non-genital features are more aesthetically pleasing. That genitals aren’t that often featured in art. We usually don’t go “wow those are some pretty genitals, damn”.
But, it’s also just your brain that tells you that the other parts are pretty. I bet all of them would look weird to an alien. It’s just your brain telling you what to like

- Comment on [Any Austin] Do Red Dead Redemption 2's Power Lines Connect to Anything? 3 months ago:
TL;DW is they connect to a power plant and they have a map-wide grid, but then it turns out that it doesn’t make sense, given the historical setting

List comprehension is another thing I don’t like about Python :)
There’s more of those, but one thing I do like about Python is that I get paid for writing it, so I try not to complain too much
- Comment on proportional reaction 3 months ago:
What I like about using
ifandelsefor that is that you’re already using those keywords for branching in other parts of the code.Though my least favorite is probably Python’s:
x = "foo" if y > 5 else "bar"It just seems backwards to me
- Comment on proportional reaction 3 months ago:
x = if y > 5 { "foo" } else { "bar" }This is just superior to anything else
