I was worried that a high five was relegated to habits of the ancient past when the Lanthanite was initiating with no reciprocation, but then the post credits scene with Spock teaching human mannerisms showed it’s still a thing.
Wait. Post credits? There has been post credits in SNW and I didn’t noticed?

I didn’t questioned that, I saw him like those cameramen that were tasked to document the front lines during the WWII, or the journalists that go to the current conflicts.

You should separate the art from the artist.
I cannot do it when the artist is using the money to hurt people.

- Comment on Why are there no universities/colleges that start in the afternoons? 4 weeks ago:
My university had groups for the afternoon, so if someone is working on the morning can still go to class.
I joined the afternoon group and it was fantastic, the classes were less crowded, easier to find a parking spot and no traffic jam when returning home.
The downside was that activities (extracurricular courses, sports clubs, etc) were on the afternoon.

The product is real, is a chastity lock and is a sex stuff, usually by dommes on her submissive partners.
And about the veracity of the review, I don’t know, I hope it is fake, but I remember reading many years ago a case were a woman was charged with child abuse for putting anal plugs on her son “to avoid the devil entering not the child’s body through the anus”.

Since the password has to be changed every two months, I would assume that it means no repeating previously used passwords.

The castle in the photo needs restoration, which is hugely expensive compared to restore a house.
I don’t about Romania, but in other European countries historic buildings are required to be maintained by the owner and it is restricted what they can do.
In Spain if the castle/palace is considered as a good of cultural interest, the restrictions are even higher. You cannot do activities that can damage it, like converting it into an hotel or restaurant. Also required to allow the public to visit it for free, at least four days each month.

- Comment on Other than a faulty charging port, is there any reason to use a wireless phone charger over wired? 5 months ago:
Mainly it is convenience of not having to lug a cable and I have a bit of fear of breaking the interior of the usb-c, it feels fragile to me.
I have an iPhone with MagSafe, so I can use it while charging.
Using a charging pad without MagSafe and cannot use the phone while charging can also be a plus for some people, it forces you to not being constantly on the phone.

Since I watch little to none content on my language (Spanish) so I changed the YouTube app language settings for the interface to English.
However sometimes it still fuck the captions, like setting them on German if the video is in English, or on Thai/Hindi/Japanese when is it in Korean.
- Comment on What is everyone's favoured domain name provider these days? 5 months ago:
I had a blog on my RPi and bought a domain on Namecheap. Years later the project died and cancel the renovation of the domain.
Many months after, I self hosted some services and wanted to use the domain again. I tried to purchase it but Namecheap kept it as “security against losing the domain” but to recover it I was asked to pay much more that I paid before when using the service.
Came with another name and bought it from cloudflare instead.
- Comment on When people in constitutional monarchies pledge loyalty to the monarch, is it actually for real, or just symbolic / a pro-forma thing? 5 months ago:
I don’t know in naturalization cases, but in Spain members of the parliament who are from independentist parties (which basically want to go against the constitution and obviously don’t give a shit about the King) preceed their oath with the phrases “by legal imperative”.
Every time it happens some parties claim that it’s not valid but AFAIK there has been no ruling in favor/against it.
Members of the government make their pledge at the palace in front of the king and I have no memory of anybody using that phrase, I quickly looked for pledges made by republican politicians and they pledge loyalty to the king as well.
