  As far as fast food goes, id put them above most “fast casual” places. They’re pretty good.

  Cellular typically uses a separate antenna than wifi, on a smartphone i imagine they’re directly on the wireless chip instead of a daughter-board? Laptops and bigger stuff usually routes the antenna wires to the back of the lid, behind the screen, im more used to that

  Nah. Rip out the antennae assembly. The phone might be a bit complain-y about it (or fail some kind of pre-boot check and not boot)? never done it to find out though.

  Functionally, AFAIK there’s nothing really stopping older devices from being updated to use e-sim. They work just fine for emergency service calls, the little chip doesn’t matter that much to the underlying hardware

  Dubai is, AFAIK, the middle east equivalent of las vegas. Certain “activities” (alcohol, gambling, etc) are less illegal than in many middle eastern countries and its a tourist trap.

  I physically cannot wear the hard plastic ones. I can tilt my head to one side and they will fall out immediately.

  That said, i also have super waxy ears as well so any ear tips (silicone or foam) get disgusting quickly, and its also wet wax so they degrade and also fall out (much slower than the plastic though).

  I also struggle with over-ears being too clampy because giant head, so im kinda just fucked on the entire non-speaker audio front. I’ve found sennheisers to be fairly comfy. Beyerdynamic DT-770 are waaaay too clampy and slide around a lot.

  Not only is it dangerous to leave snow on your vehicle and drive (just running the engine and turning it off can thaw and refreeze into ice chunks), it is in many places illegal to do so. Get a longer snow brush and clear your vehicle properly.
