Great review, very thorough. Good timing too since I need a new emulator. I had an rg40xxv that i really like, but i dropped it a little while ago and the screen is broken now. Would you recommend this one, or the rotate? The prices are close enough that either is fine, and I’m not going to play anything newer than psx. These both look like really nice form factors for me, since i usually use this on trips.
The rgsp has the same soc as the rg40xxv, so i know how that performs. The rotate looks like it should be more powerful, but does it matter? Is it powerful enough to use better crt shaders?

I’ve been working in hospitals for 20 years and have seen our finances, they make very little profit on inpatient admissions, most patients are losses. Outpatient surgery and things like that are how they make money.
Take your number of 5.45 billion profit for the industry. There are 6100 hospitals in the US. That’s an average of $893,442 per hospital. That’s not a lot of profit.

If the donor’s family were paid, it would no longer be a donation, it would be a sale. That opens the door for things like trafficking people to sell their organs.
And the hospital doesn’t really make a ton of money from the transplant, they get paid for the entire stay. And if you are there for a transplant you need a ton of care and it costs the hospital a ton of money to take care of you. US hospitals are not a huge money making business.

I’ll second this. I smelled worse wearing antiperspirant than deodorant. I switched because antiperspirant gives me a rash, but it turns out i smell better with deodorant too.

My neighbor called the police when mine was dropped off last year. She called because “a tow truck just dropped off a car and left.” The cops seemed confused why they were there, since buying a car is not a crime, and they didn’t really give a shit when I told them it was mine. Funny enough I couldn’t find my jumper cables to move it to my garage and had to borrow a ser from the neighbor who had called them.
