A lot of kids fresh out of highschool are pressured into going to college right away. Its the societal norm for some fucking reason.
Give these kids a break and let them go when they’re really ready. Personally I sat around for a year and a half before I felt like “fuck, this is boring lets go learn something now”. If i had gone to college straight from highschool I would’ve flunked out and just wasted all that money for nothing.

And similarly, i could read code in a language I dont know, understand what it does and how it works even if I don’t know the syntax well enough to write it myself

Am I weird in that I actually like the hypnic jerk feeling? It doesnt happen often to me, maybe once every few months. I also like bedspins, used to get them every night as a child/teen. though they rarely happen anymore. It was like my own personal rollercoaster ride!

However, the gluten-free fad diet was actually incredibly beneficial for sufferers of celiac desease because it made gluten-free products so mainstream and really expanded what pre-made foods and snacks they can buy in stores.

Theres a lot to unpack here, but really OP made a mistake by asking to go hiking. Thats a terrible first date idea and also isnt inherently date-y. Likely he was just missreading her kindness as flirting, but if he had asked her to dinner or coffee brunch it would’ve made his intentions more clear to her.
Not that it really matters because its fake and gay anyways.

No, he likes money. Remember a few years ago when he tweeted about how great dogecoin was? Then a week later he tweeted about how stupid is was and that he was done with? He probably made millions buying and selling dogecoin as he made those tweets. There a huge conflict of interest when it comes to celebrities endorsing crypto coins. If you have the pull, you can just buy a bunch of some shit coin, talk it up and then all the people who look up to you to will go buy it, pumping up the price while you sell and make a huge profit. Then the value crashes back down and everyonw who bought is left holding the bag. Whenever some famous person talks about a crypto, 100% of the time it is a grift to skim money from their follower’s pockets.

Probably they don’t want to know because they will be poweless to stop it and are not able to relocate right now and they don’t want their insurance to raise rates or just drop them.

When I went to mexico many years ago, they had dedicated teams of conservationists mark and monitor all nesting spots (they didnt collect the eggs), then when they start hatching they will rake the sand in a path to the ocean and inevitably a crowd of tourists will gather so the conservationists also end up having to hold the crowd back so that they dont get in the way, the crowd does however scare away any beach predators.
I got to see both egg laying, and eggs hatching it was very cool. The baby turtles are sooo tiny and adorable.

The story goes that during the RNC, gay prostitutes are in high demand. There is one such guy who claims to have serviced Lindsay Graham’s anus and said that it was peppered with raised moles, which Graham lovingly refered to as his “little ladybugs”.
Allegedly.

Irish people were forced to eat potatoes because they were subjugated by british lords who took everything else they farmed. When the potato “famine” happened, they were actually still producing plenty of other food, just that the British lords didnt care and still forces them to hand it over.
Admittedly this is the extent of my knowledge on the situation, so you should look it up yourself if you want to know more.
The “Joke” at the irish guy in the greentext is actually pretty insensitive and rude, much moreso than asking a german why he didnt order sauerkraut.
Potatoes aren’t even native to Ireland.
