Wow, everyone left another platform and were inspired to leave for the same reason, as a group. Now they’re showing extreme similarities in other ways! When will the madness stop??!

Yeah let’s ignore the fact that it loses 70% of its strength at like 800 F.
- Comment on How do you set up wake up alarm and not miss it ? 2 months ago:
Get a timer controlled power outlet and hook a Hitachi magic wand to it. Place the wand under your pillow. The vibration is super intense and gets uncomfortable at the highest setting. Bonus points you can wake and bate since you have a massager handy.

I have to do the same thing but my natural response isn’t to attack others based on physical traits or religious beliefs. My natural response is to figure out who’s hoarding the most wealth and convince them it’s in their best interest to share lest others take a more violent approach at a more desperate time.

Carbon steel loses 70% of its strength at 800 degrees though.
- Comment on What are some game series you would like to see revived? And if possible, which entry should the new game follow from? 2 months ago:
There hasn’t really been a good vehicular combat game in awhile, like Vigilante 8 or Twisted Metal
I also noticed there haven’t really been any good couch party games besides Mario party; think Crash Bash, Pokemon stadium, fusion frenzy, and the like.

Now that I think about it, Felix Felicus in the HP universe is basically an analogue to atium in the mistborn saga.
Mistborn did it a little better.
- Comment on Anon finds a plot hole 3 months ago:
Michael Bay movies aren’t fun to watch because they have airtight plots and intelligent writing. They’re fun to watch because there are sparkly things going boom and it looks pretty.
The Harry Potter series is effectively the same thing. A spectacular story that’s fun to experience the first time through.
In both cases, if you think too hard about it, the thin veneer giving the appearance of coherence disappears and you’re left with a logically inconsistent mess.
It’s not going to stop me from watching Independence Day or reading Prisoner of Azkaban again though.

Mine is 9-4 some days. I do automated QA for an enterprise application. Management budgets 2 hours a day for lunch and overhead (meetings, emails, chatting, etc.) for each employee. If I don’t hit that then I can get off early.

- Comment on car insurance 7 months ago:
I believe it. A childhood friend of mine had totaled like 7 (very cheap) cars by the time he turned 25.
After a particularly brutal crash, he was diagnosed with epilepsy after having an absence seizure in the presence of an ER nurse.
Hasn’t wrecked since.

Maybe they can collaborate with Obsidian on something. Pillars of eternity and tyranny were amazing, especially the latter’s magic crafting system.

Cp2077 is a good game. Did they hype it too hard, overpromise, fumble the launch, and launch too early? Yes, to all of those. But it’s one of the better games I’ve played recently.
