Looks like the hail mary pass to bring Max and Chloe back didn’t go too good.

That’s Square Enix/Deck Nine. Dontnod haven’t been involved with LiS since LiS2.
Their latest titles were Jusant, Lost Records, Banishers: Ghosts of Eden, and Aphelion.
I liked Lost Records.
That was a different company.
that wasnt dont nod. life is strange is doing ok. font nod only did the first two games
Oh - They made Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden, too?
I played that game on PS+, without even knowing the central conceit. It was interesting for a while, but it does feel strange that one protagonist is using a sword while the other is just punching.
If always wondered if crowdfunding could help a studio in this position.
Sounds like layoffs are incoming.

Only Don’t Nod game I’ve played is Jusant and it was absolutely superb. Loved the world building and gameplay. I’d be disappointed to see them go just off the back of that one game.

Unfortunately the day in their games don’t really have much mass market appeal and they haven’t innovated. They very much make the same game again and again and again and again with iterative improvements.

Jusant was very much different from their typical narrative game.

This isn’t true. Their catalogue is quite diverse.
