- Comment on What's your opinion on post-game content? do you do it? or are you done with the game when the credits roll? 1 week ago:
Depends on the game, depends on the content.
For example, Skyrim, I could easily continue playing (or just ignore most of the main storyline).
Compared to something like Assassins Creed 1, where any “additional content” would be the most boring/repetitive task. I was done with this as soon as the credits rolled.
- Comment on New here: how do I see posts from other lemmys? 1 week ago:
You can’t with Lemmy, yet. Maybe if you use a frontend client that supports it (like “blorp”, or “Interstellar"). However, if you use PieFed you can do this. Just set up what’s called a “Feed” and then you can combine all of the parenting communities into one.
For example, this is what the “AllGaming” feed looks like: https://piefed.social/f/allgames
There might be a feed already set up on the PieFed.world instance, otherwise you could be the one to set it up for everyone else.
Compared to Lemmy, PieFed also allows you to use tags on posts, user flair, create polls, blur spoiler images, and it will also combine the comments of anything that’s been crossposted (separated into groups for each community) into a single post.

The transcription is almost correct all the way except for one part.
When he says, “Whoever needed it, they’re dead”.
The transcription reads, “Whoever needed it, they’re okay”. - Submitted 1 month ago to gaming@beehaw.org | 11 comments

- Comment on Austrian Supreme Court rules that FIFA loot boxes are not gambling 1 month ago:
The decision does not apply to every game, instead the courts would have to look at each game to see if loot boxes would be considered gambling or not.
From the article:
The Supreme Court of Austria has ruled that the loot boxes in the FIFA games do not constitute gambling as they do require some skill.
GamesMarkt reports that the justices in Vienna have decided that the specific game mechanic in FIFA Ultimate Team is not gambling, but they also state that loot boxes can be gambling. To be specific, loot boxes and the games they are part of need to be taken together on this matter.

Super late reply, but for anyone else coming across this thread later:
The bypass plug allows you to bypass the normal filter in your fridge and hook it up to an external filter.
It does contain an RFID chip.

For anyone with one of these GE fridges. If you read the fine print in the owner's manual, they will send you a bypass plug for free (just once) if you call and ask for one. You will need to provide the serial number of the fridge.
